I walked to city center twice during my one week stay. There are a few pubs not far and I could use the cantine in the university for cheap ish real meals.
Some packed food in the breakfast were dreadful.

We stayed here for 2 nights visitng Pamplona. The room was pretty basic but that is reflected in the price we paid which was considerably less than other hotels we looked at and the parking was free just outside main reception door. Breakfast was adequate and the reception staff were top drawer really helpful and polite. Locationwise it was about a 25 minute walk into the centre or a 1.50 euro bus ride The site itself is very clean and quiet on an evening.
I would have preferred a self service breakfast system as opposed to queuing at a counter and requesting individual items. I felt a bit guilty going back and forth requesting something else. It was a strange system where the impression was you had to get everything you wanted in one go but the food was of a decent standard.

Excellent based on the fact this is student accommodation. Very clean, safe and secure and excellent value for money are the main positives, staff were very good and accommodating. Breakfast included was good, free parking a bonus. If you want the Ritz you will be disappointed.
