Lovely clean property with nice rooms and good facilities. An excellent restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff.
They have a chargeable spa but no spa staff to greet and show us the facilities.

Its a clean hotel to stay at, room size was ok for two people per room. AC is cold which is great. Comfortable bed. Breakfast staff and door staff were super nice and friendly. Excellent hair dryer.
- although ac was good, it was set to auto which disrupted our sleep significantly. It kept on switching on and automatically off and that couldnt be changed.
- service and reception staff was not at all a five star hotel service. Reception staff when we arrived were not welcoming, we didnt feel like we were taken care of like a proper 5 star hotel in milan. Staff at the door were actually very friendly and helpful unlike reception which is quiet very disappointing. We also once asked about a few day trips and the hotel wasnt able to help us book any, again, unlike other 5 stars hotel in Milan.
- if you dont call and ask for housekeeping they wont clean your room. We leave early morning and come back early afternoon and our room wont be cleaned if we didnt call prior. Atleast that was our experience.
- the room size was great however the design is awful. No tables to put your handbags, no space in bathroom to put your toiletries, it was very poorly designed. Even nightstand was small.
- only one bedside had an outlet to charge your phone.
- although the room was for two people and booked for two people, there were no amenities in the bathroom for 2 it was for 1, we had to ask them to put for 2 people. Which we find very strange.
Over all it didnt feel like a 5 star hotel experience at all, there are basic things that hotels do to make your experience better however unfortunately Monfort didnt meet the expectations at all. We left for the airport super early in the morning 6.30am, we werent even offered a bottle of water. Other 5 stars hotel in milan offer water, coffee, tea, or snacks or a whole breakfast, i booked the taxi one day prior the reception didnt bother to ask if we needed anything before we leave so the kitchen can prepare… im not saying we want anything for free but these small simple gestures do matter for the price you pay.
