Stunning, historic and unique. The best place I’ve stayed while vacationing throughout Spain during the past seven years. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone planning a Spanish road trip. The staff were friendly and welcoming, particularly with our little dog. The ability to attend early morning mass in such a beautiful historic church isn’t something you would ever associate with a high quality professional hotel, but it happens here. I hope I can visit many times again.

The staff was very good! They could speak perfect English, which is rare in Spain. In addition, they were very personal and thought along to make your time better. In addition, they were personal and the staff recognized you immediately. The room exceeded expectations, and the location is breathtaking.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. Simple but good quality furnishings/beds. A comfortable nights sleep.It was hot but the ceiling fan worked well. Charming staff.The advantage of being able to drop in to the church services to hear the chanting/singing.Restaurant served one of the better meals on our road trip. There is also an on site cafe.

Beautiful location, very quiet, convenient for Barcelona. The monastery is an interesting place to visit. Restaurant was good. Cafe was very nice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The common areas are nice and well kept. Lots of very entertaining cats in the grounds.
Rooms are tired, they need updating and a deep clean. One room we had was very dark, no obvious place to put the lights on and 4 steps down almost immediately inside the door, quite dangerous. Sound insulation between the rooms was nonexistent and the beds were poor. Door to one of our rooms had a large gap at the top and the wooden floors in the hallway creaked and groaned whenever anyone went past.
