Amazing stay in the heart of Mondello!
The house is beautiful, with lovely views of the ocean, super clean and comfortable, delicious breakfast, walking distance from the beach, near restaurants, shops, city centre, and with the best hosts Silvana and Eugenio!

My partner and I stayed in the apartment, which was spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with a kitchen, full bath, and a veritable library of Italian books; we wanted to stay longer!
Mondello was our first stop in Sicily, and we are thankful to have begun our journey at Il Glicine sul Golfo.The entire property is enchanting; Silviana takes great care to make her home a relaxing paradise. In fact, her jasmine-scented garden is a work of art.
The entire staff was attentive and friendly, and made us feel right at home with warm conversation and hot coffee.
Breakfast was delicious and served on a terrace with the best view Mondello has to offer. I cannot recommend Il Glicine sul Golfo enough!
Il Glicine sul Golfo offers a taxi service from the airport. Be sure to arrange transport from the airport in advance, as taxis at the airport are far more expensive.

This is a beautiful property with fabulous gardens, impeccable rooms with charming antique furniture. We were welcomed by our most charming host and made to feel at home immediately.
This property is up a long steep hill and even though we are regular walkers we found the ten minute climb a bit challenging, especially after sampling some of Mondello's restaurants.

The house and the garden were beautiful, quite and clean. it felt like being at home and the contact with the host was very friendly and familiar. I had a peaceful and wonderful stay there.

The hostess was delightful. The property was peaceful and beautifully maintained in an old old world style with a wonderful mature garden. Breakfast was whatever we wished and served on the balcony overlooking the garden.

The view from our small balcony and the terrace was breathtaking. The owner - Silvana put a lot of effort to prepare breakfast for us- we had delicious scrambled eggs from her own chickens and jams that she made herself. She is a lovely person!

The house is located in a beautiful and scenic spot, just a few steps up the hill from Mondello beach, with a lovely view to the whole bay. The house was so cozy, with soul, and felt like a home, plus the hosts were very sympathetic and helpful.
The room was comfortable and breakfast very good, fresh and homemade. They organized reliable transport between accommodation and airport, which was great.
We really enjoyed staying here and surely will be back soon one day. Thank you for a wonderful time and hospitality ,we will be back for sure. Grazie mille!

Our room was so comfortable for sleeping as it was located in a shady spot of the house (best sleep in sicily!). The house itself is like a green shady oasis on top of mondello and it is sooo nicely decorated and furnished, I really liked the style and wanted to moove in instantly ;-)
Breakfast was very italian with fresh croissants, home made cake and jams, fresh fruits - so delicious! We enjoyed it at the beautiful terrace with sea view.
And on top of all of that the hosts (Eugenio & his mom) were so helpful and nice! We would come back again! A perfect 10 rating!

Lovely place to stay in Mondello. The house is located just a few minutes of walking distance from the beach. There are also many restaurants and shops within a short walk from the house. It has a lovely vintage interior and a beautiful garden filled with many plants and trees. The hosts were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty! We have enjoyed our stay here!
We did not dislike anything in this house. Only one thing to mention is, the breakfast menu was same everyday. It would be nice if they had introduced different items in the breakfast on some days!

Breakfast is fresh, home made, and diverse with a beautiful view on Mondello.
Silvana was super kind and the room looked like a painting.
Walking to Mondello center is just some minutes away by walk. We would love to come back in the future.

The beach is 10 minutes walking from the house. 5 minutes walking from the house is a bus nr 806 who goes to palermo.

The location was amazing and my girlfriend and I really had a good time. Everything was perfect, the room was clean and the breakfast in the terrace enjoying the see view it was the perfect way to start the day. Silvana and her son Eugenio were so helpful and available in any time of the day. They also have been so kind to let us stayed until late afternoon to get a shower since our flight back was at night time and we could enjoy few more hours at the beach. Silvana and Eugenio are 2 amazing person which will make you feel at home. I would 100% recommend this place

The host is incredible. She is incredibly kind and gentle. Also, the location is amazing. We could enjoy the experience of living in a villa like an Italian. The house is beyond words.
