A lovely hotel full of character and quirky furniture. It's the sort of hotel I wish I could find everywhere I travel but it's one off and all the more special for that.
It's difficult to find fault but more decaff and dairy free options in the room would have been welcome although these were provided on request.

It is clean and comfortable. The host was always there to help with any issues that may arise.
Breakfast was of excellent quality.
The property had a quirky vibe to it.

A very friendly host; excellent parking; good WiFi; excellent breakfast with wide choice; large bathroom with a good supply of hot water; good supply of power points in the room.
The bedroom was rather small, with no bedside tables and no room to put the suitcase; the wardrobe only had two hangars; the only place to sit to watch the TV was the bed which was very uncomfortable because of the ironwork in the bedhead; the flow of hot water was low making it difficult to fill the bath; the mechanism to switch on the shower didn't seem to work and the whole assembly was detached from the bath and wobbled alarmingly.

The en-suite in our deluxe double room, Had a damp smell. Dirty floor tiles and shabby bath mat.
