Superb location at a great price

Superb location - Very close to Nakiyama chair lifts, short walk to Adam Gondola. Great value for the location. Onsite onsen was also very nice

Hotel has seen better days, and needs a significant update. Rooms were relatively clean for its age. Onsen on the small side

Would definitely recommend.

Great staff, great location, great value.

Breakfasts were wonderful, Onsen relaxing after a busy day skiing.

Nice, great location but old and worn.

Small hotel very close to ski lift. Very nice and very hot onsen (hot bath). Traditional breakfast included, but no coffee. Ski room and storage in basement. 2 restaurants in same building, and lots more within walking distance, also close to bus station for bus to Nagano and small convenience store. Friendly and helpful staff.

Worn down and outdated, old interior and furniture. But everything works and its clean. The hotel has not seen any upgrades since they had winter Olympics there 1998 it seems.

Great. I’d be back.

The breakfast was a surprise with a full spread cooked daily. Usually a piece of salmon but then a whole heap of other stuff. Own bathroom as opposed to hostel shared facilities.

I hope everyone continues to travel, accomm like Graces is a long established family business

Each staff member was professional, welcoming and friendly. I appreciate that English is rarely spoken, it’s more authentic and encourages us to contribute more. We felt like we were most welcome every day and would return again without hesitation.

The industry has had a tough few years, so I wouldn’t ask for anything more.

Friendly staff.

Nice location. Very close to bars, restaurants and skilift. Very friendly staff.

They could not speak english at all, so we had to walk from the station with our luggage. Not possible to get a taxi at arrivel to the station and the staff could not help us. There was no bar and restaurant only open for japanese breakfast.

Wonderful!

The staff (the front desk man was lovely, and went above and beyond to help us with everything); the location was perfect, short walk into town and to the ski field. The place is good value for money

The decor is a little dated and could be more modern, by there isn’t anything bad about it. To cater for tourists, more English signs could be provided.

A short walk to a night ski slope!

- Room with comfortable space even in a toilet - Very helpful and kind host (fluent English) - Well organised ski locker - Warm toilet - Good location for night ski at Happo-one - Laundry service provided

- Old-fashioned flush, not function very well - Grubby room floor (It would be a lot better,if the hotel could change the entire room's rug) - Outdoor onsen is very very cold - Walking to the bus terminal is a bit far
