Excellent hospitality that more than makes up for the room deficiencies

Breakfast & dinner - traditional set types. Excellent! Room - see below Staff - excellent! especially the restaurant staff who went beyond their call of duty! 10/10

Room - not ideal. No place to hang towels in bathroom, no place to put luggage bags, no table to put things at a raised level. Everything has to be put on the floor.

Great surprise: old but gold. Everything you need and more. Exceptional staff.

Great surprise: old but gold. Everything you need and more. Exceptional staff and amazing scenery. Great big rooms with walk in wardrobe and separate bathtub. Onsen available. Two sofa and chair, microwave - cooking hob - sink (!) and room air purifier amongst the extras. Wonderful dinner / breakfast buffets of local food (congee/stirfry/garnish) and western cakes/pastry/desert. Wonderful staff (Nepal waiters/local front desk) caters to all your needs even when crowded. Weather permitting the view is breathtaking alp peaks.

Aged facilities but well maintained. Two water levels (hot / cold) instead of one hard to adjust water temperature.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious, onsen with beautiful mountain view . Value of money. Good location.

Hotel Hakuba provided an authentic experience of Japanese hospitality.

One of the most comfortable beds and pillow I have experienced.

some parts of the hotel carpeting is looking a little tired.

spacious room with a scene . there is also a microwave and kitchenette in the room!

hotel is located in one of the most scenic places! it is surrounded by mountains and trees which turn different shades during autumn. it’s really beautiful

the narrow lane that leads to the hotel is very dark during after 6pm during autumn, no street lights

The great mountain view was not a joke. Seriously beautiful

The breakfast hall was so delightful. It's not common to experience a breakfast buffet with a great view of the mountain. The onsen was also a delight

Nothing really. Maybe just an option for a queen sized bed for couples.

Very good

I enjoy their breakfast and dinner because there are a variety of options to choose from. There was also a shuttle bus to ski resorts and the view from our room window is really nice. We could see the Northern Alps. The hotel has indoor and outdoor (not so hot) onsen, which my kid and I enjoyed.

The bed is a little hard.

Great hotel staff and location to hike or ski in Hakone!

Good buffet food with safety measures against corona. Enjoyable onsen. Hotel manager was very helpful and accommodating. Beautiful flowers at hotel entrance.

Breakfast time was rather too short.
