Petit Hotel Enchante was absolutely exceptional. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. When we were checking out, they kindly drove us to the station we needed to get to and helped us figure out the transport details, which made our departure completely stress free. Throughout our stay they were incredibly helpful with bus times, directions and wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and places to explore. Every time we crossed paths they were genuinely excited to chat and connect, which made the experience feel warm and personal.
The location was perfect, with a shuttle right outside the hotel that took us directly to the slopes, making ski days effortless. Our room was surprisingly spacious and extremely comfortable, the perfect place to relax after long days in the snow. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared.
The included breakfast was absolutely incredible, beautifully presented and delicious each morning. It truly felt like we were being looked after in every detail.
There was genuinely nothing we did not like. It was a fantastic stay from beginning to end.

Friendly and kind owners, very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable beds, lovely Onsen, heated boot room, amazing breakfasts - different dishes served daily, all beautifully presented and delicious. We had dinner one night as a special treat and it was spectacular. The location was great for the free ski shuttle buses, with direct access to 4 ski areas. Also in walking distance of Echoland for ski rental, bars and restaurants. We appreciated being dropped off at the bus station at the end of our stay, and our luggage transfer was sorted out too. We would highly recommend staying at this excellent, traditional, family run hotel.
Everything was wonderful. Just note that the nearest convenience store and also the bus and train stations are 20 mins walk away.

We LOVED everything about our stay! The hosts are truly amazing and went above and beyond for us - they even took me to the clinic themselves when I told them I hit my arm really bad on the slopes (I was about to order an Uber). We really felt like home.
The breakfasts vary every day and we got to try delicious homemade Japanese cuisine - amazing and for a great price.
The room was spacious for Japanese standards - we didn't feel any discomfort and found room for all our stuff.
The location is great too, 2 min walk to bus shuttles to Goryu and Happo, 5 min walk to a good pub and around 10 min walk to all the restaurants and cafes.
We will definitely come back!
