Enjoyed the onsen after skiing all day. Great location, close to everything you need. Staff very helpful. Front desk helped us baggage transport paperwork.

I came with my friend in the season clothing, so it was a little bit empty. But overall everything was good, the lady in reception was friendly, the room on 1st floor was good and onsen in the basement also good!

Good location, 5 minutes walk to the main bus stop and restaurants in town. Large room with comfortable western beds. The lady in reception was nice and offered to carry our bags up to our 3rd floor room since there's no elevator (we carried them ourselves though because we felt bad). Snacks available at all times (cookies, lollies, teabags). The rooftop onsen is lovely with a nice view over the mountains. The drying room for ski gear is easily accessible.
The lobby is very dated. Have to take shoes off in the lobby in order to walk up to our room - slippers were provided, but it was fairly annoying. Basement onsen is dated and unpleasant. No breakfast offered, and there are very limited options in Hakuba so it was hard to eat before a day of skiing. Overall the stay was passable, but the price is outrageous for the quality of the stay. We were stuck for options and next time would book a lot earlier to get better accommodation elsewhere.
