It was very good.

No breakfast but it has free tea coffee. Complete kitchen. The staff- Mia was very friendly and helpful .very relaxing farm vibe. We love it.

Posizione strategica per visitare Gullfoss e i Geyser senza rinunciare all' atmosfera Islandese.

Posizione strategica vicino a Gullfoss e con vista sui gaiser . La struttura all interno è molto luminosa e spaziosa . Ho soggiornato in una camera con due letti ed una bellissima vista sulla campagna . Ha disposizione c'era un asciugamano e nelle doccia shampoo e bagnoschiuma. La zona cucina/pranzo è molto grande e dispone di due piastre ad induzione ,un microonde , un tosta pane e due bollitori ( di cui uno in un tavolo dedicato al caffè/Tè ) Sono presenti caffè e tè . La cucina di per se non è molto grande però è organizzata e c'è tutto l'occorrente per preparare il cibo. Parcheggio di fronte alla struttura. è possibile fare passeggiate a cavallo .

Illuminazione in zona cucina : capisco l'atmosfera però qualche illuminazione in più non guasterebbe. Istruzioni sulla raccolta differenziata .

Pretty much everything! Amazing location surrounded by greenery on all sides, spacious room, sufficient cooking facilities and ample parking space.

The location is very good, we could see the Geysir from our room. The guesthouse was clean, quiet, good shower, good beds. There is a restaurant very close by that saved our dinner.

Superb

The kitchen was well equipped and you could get free coffee and tea anytime you wanted. The location was super close to Geysir and Gulfoss that I was able to go multiple times to see them and different times of day including 7am where I had both places completely to myself.

There was a lot of walking up and down the halls to get from your room to the shared facilities.

Superb

Well-equipped kitchen area and lovely communal living area with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean.

would have a been good value at half the price

the location and the decor were fine, communal wash areas were clean

it failed in every sense in terms of practicality, in a room for 4, you couldn't swing a cat. no where to hang clothes, put suitcases, it just wasn't made to accommodate the number of people. No where to place wet flannels, no bin in the room.

Amazing!!!!

I can't recommend this place enough, it is amazing!!! A beautiful place in the middle of nowhere, with horses, rabbits, dogs and a cat. The staff was extremely nice, the place was super clean, the beds were comfortable and the views are amazing!!! Also, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the comfort of our room. I would have loved to stay for longer

Very cozy place with a great view, definitely recommend it! + They don't mention it but they have a microwave in the kitchen!

The walls were paper thin, could hear everything in other rooms :( Could be improved with rules to be silent/not loud after certain hours :)

Very beautiful and charming guesthouse with a very nice style. The owner was very nice. The bathroom was clean. Good quality for the free toileteries.

The kitchen is really not enough well equipped for a guesthouse. Not enough Electric plates (just one) and pans so we couldn't cook.

Don't expect luxury. It is a simple room with a shared bathroom. By Iceland standards the price is low. It was the most affordable place during my entire trip. Good choice if you don't want to camp but safe some money.

Great homey hostel

The place was very cute and felt homey with an incredible view. The kitchen and common room had all the essentials needed. There were enough showers and bathrooms, so even though it seemed that the house was full, we did not have to wait in line. The beds were very comfortable.

Great stay at Geysir Hestar!

The cottage we stayed in was perfect. Very clean and well kept. The pictures were exactly as it appeared in real life. I would highly recommend Geysir Hestar.
