Beautiful views and location. Comfy bed, very clean. A well equipped shared kitchen with drying facilities for wet shoes. Large modern clean hot showers
This is more like a hostel with kitchen facilities, free tea and coffee but no breakfast included. Our en-suite was only a toilet with shared showers separately. These were very clean large and modern but for the price I definitely expected an en suite.

We were delighted by this well-equipped guesthouse, just a few minutes from Reynisfjara beach. The hosts thought of all the little details - the shoe dryers in the foyer were a godsend after getting soaked on our hike that day. The communal kitchen was really well-stocked, with a large, comfortable shared dining room. The guesthouse had plenty of showers, WCs, and hair dryers so no one had to wait. We also loved the location, near the beach - in the evening we drove ten minutes to match the puffins, and we were ten minutes from the town of Vik in the other direction. Highly recommend.
There are no family rooms, so we had to book two twin rooms, and it was not cheap. This night ended up being the most expensive stay of our trip, but it was the best price we could find in Vik with 6 months lead time. If you only need a double, though, the price is competitive. The rooms are comfortable but quite small, but you'll most likely want to hang out in the communal space or get out into town.

Clean, no contact check in, good kitchen, good showers, good location.
Deceptive pictures because they cut off the large windows showing the rooms opening out to the parking lot and a small road beyond it. Didn't like that.

It’s not a very good value for money. Rooms a VERY basic and un personal.
2 toilets more quite many rooms
