we where given not one but two free up grades the room wasn’t good it was superb
staff go out of there way to make you feel happy , the chef was spot on we eat one evening and had breakfast the next day . both where great , yes the hotel itself could do with a bit of tlc in some areas . but all the staff more than make up for it

absolutely brilliant, the manager goes out of his way to help ,the location is absolutely stunning, brilliant for pets as you can walk straight onto the Moor, also loads of parking

The property was in an amazing position with fantastic views. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was also very good.
When we arrived we thought the property was closed. There appeared to be no life around at all apart from a couple of cars and a few sheep (to be expected on Dartmoor!) in the car park. The property is in need of major refurbishment and it could be an amazing hotel in time.
