On arrival it had a charming elegance. The reception and bar areas were very elegant.
It was very clean.
The bedroom and hallways were a bit scruffy. Wallpaper peeling and paintwork dirty and scuffed (including the bath in our room).
We chose a superior room to stay in. The shower was over the bath and there wasn’t enough room, you had to stand on the plug to be under the shower head. It was all very slippery to get out of the bath and on to the tiled floor. The bath had been painted and whilst showering the paint was peeling off around my feet. The toilet was squeezed in next to the bath and it was all just very unpleasant.

The Superior Rooms were lovely and spacious for 2.
The breakfast was lovely, with varied options.
The location was perfect, just a street away from the Arc De Triomphe and the metro to get to all the sites in Paris.
If ever I'm in Paris again, this will be the only place to stay

The location was excellent — I would rate it 9/10. It’s in a very convenient and pleasant area, and the general appearance of the hotel is quite nice. On the positive side, both check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.
Overall, while the location and general look of the hotel are good, I would personally rate it as a 3-star hotel rather than a 4-star, especially by Paris standards.
The hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star property. The breakfast was particularly disappointing. The food was served in very small portions, almost as if it were prepared for only one or two people. We constantly had to ask the staff to refill items. For example, boiled eggs ran out, and even after informing the staff, they were not replenished before we finished our breakfast.
The rooms were clean but extremely small. It was difficult for two people to move around comfortably at the same time. There were also missing basic amenities — for instance, slippers were not provided in the room, and we had to request them from reception. In a 4-star hotel, such essentials should already be prepared.
Additionally, the TV was not smart, so we couldn’t even access YouTube or similar services.
