This villa is everything I love about family-run accommodations in Italy. The building has been obviously lovingly restored and kept up well, so it is beautiful and immaculate but still so comfortable. It’s clear that the owners have thought really hard about every detail that makes for a convenient and relaxing experience away from home. The little town and the surrounding countryside are pretty and perfect for a walk. But what makes the place extra special—and the reason I go out of my way to return to this place whenever I have the opportunity—are the owners, who are so genuinely kind and welcoming and attentive. This is a wonderful place, and I recommend it without hesitation!

Perfect stopover place on our way to Tuscany - superb historic villa with large rooms, and small kitchen. A few km away from a very nice lake and a really good fish restaurant (la Luna).
