Great stay at the Berghof. Really lovely location a little way out of the main village but that suited us (only a 10 minute walk). The shuttle service from the station is fantastic. Lovely staff, gorgeous food, and the most INCREDIBLE views of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Good price point for Zermatt too. Would recommend.
Worth mentioning that the path up to the hotel is steep, so maybe not ideal for anyone with mobility issues (although the hotel may have a solution for this). The bathroom was a little dated but that is really being picky. The only thing I would say is that the terrace blankets were a bit dirty.

The hotel is gorgeous with amazing views of the Matterhorn and the most beautiful SPA I ever enjoyed. This was definitely a luxurious stay yet very family friendly. You can hear the marmots calling in the evening as well as the bells from local cows and sheep. The added convenience of having the gondola right next to the hotel and the free bus to town down the hill was amazing. We had the best time at hotel Bergof and hope to be back in a few years!
It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep snacks and drinks fresh and cold. We also got a bit hot at night and had no control over the temperature of the room.

The property was excellent. The location was perfect and the staff was extremely friendly and professional.
I expected to have at least a coffee machine in the room and a little refrigerator. The room didn’t have both.
