We stayed in Room 2.The bed was very comfy...a large room...very clean. Huge bathroom..Towels were gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious. Freshly cooked to order. All local produce. The staff were lovely.
Definitely needs a non slip mat in the shower...

I liked the room and it was very spacious, good shower pressure, and spacious shower, big bathroom, nice and comfortable bed, fridge in the room, nice room decor, car parking, quiet location, friendly staff and daily room refreshing (towel change, bin, coffee etc), plenty coffee, milk etc. Overall we had a really good rest and we slept really well, the bed is so comfy. Breakfast was available but we do not usually eat in the mornings, so we did not purchase it.
No smart TV - quite old the TV, one shelf on one of the bedside hanging loose, dirty shower- around the bottom, very bad smelly fridge (we used it for water only) - and we could have said something to be fair to the cleaner but we forgot, I'm sure they would have sorted out) but I feel if the room was cleaned, the cleaner surely would have noticed. Not sure what happened there.
Bed slates were missing on the bed and my husband fell through on his side, but he fixed it right away, and we did mention it to the cleaner and she wanted to call someone to fix it but we did say no need as we fixed it. By the way, he later found the slates in the wardrobe (we left them there, we just rearranged the ones already on the bed). :)) Again, not sure what happened here.
I wouldn't say this was an excellent place, but it was good enough for the value. I really liked the vibe of the place and we had a really rested and relaxed time in the room. If they fix what I mentioned they would definitely be excellent. We were in room 3.
