The property was absolutely beautiful throughout and the decor carefully curated. The bed was huge and super comfy and the bathroom clean and a lovely hot shower to enjoy in the morning. Breakfast was outstanding and made to order. We also enjoyed an evening meal while we were there which was a real treat. Graham and Karen are the perfect hosts and gave us some useful tips about visiting the area. A good base for exploring this area of Scotland.
The only problem with the property is the town itself which has very little to offer per se..a couple of pubs and a supermarket.

Gorgeously-decorated, spotless, comfortable, welcoming guesthouse with an outstanding relaxing garden amidst an intimate but well-equipped small town. Both the bedroom and en-suite bath area are generously sized with luxurious touches. We dined onsite and the food was incredible. The hosts took time to inquire about our travel plans and recommended some very special off-the-beaten path locations to visit that proved to be true gems. This was an overnight stop on a multi-day hike and despite entering muddy and disheveled the hosts immediately made us feel at home. We would definitely stay at Tigh Na Leigh again if we return to Scotland… by far one of the nicest places we have stayed. Don’t overlook this one!
Nothing! It is amazing. Just be aware of the location if you are looking for ultra-quiet rural. There can be a tiny bit of street noise coming from nearby venues on weekend nights. The insulated windows and heavy curtains blocked it well and we appreciated being able to walk to a local grocer and other amenities, which some of the really tiny villages don’t have.

Karen and Graham were excellent hosts who explained all facilities and history of the building, The rooms were spotless and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely shower and a spa bath with endless hot water.The accommodation is well presented and comfortable with an honesty lounge where you can enjoy a drink in peaceful surroundings. Graham is a fountain of knowledge with more information than the Scottish tourist board on all local tour and walking spots,local restaurants places to visit and where to buy the best brioche bread in the area.The breakfasts were exceptional with a great variety of choice,beautifully presented and a great start to the day.The surrounding gardens are immaculate and beautiful.
All in all a great place to stay and well worthy of its accolades, we'll be back.
Honestly can't say I couldn't find anything to dislike.

Warmly welcome. Beautiful house nicely decorated, fully renovated. Delicious breakfast with local products. Graham was so kind to take time to suggest the best itinerary and visits for our way to our next destination.
