Breakfast was nice, plentiful and eating in the garden, communally was lovely.
The rooms were clean and suited us fine. Shower had good pressure. Location was excellent and the free off-site but close parking was a bonus.
The building is lovely and it was very nice to be welcomed to look in the main house, despite us staying in the annexe.
In the entrance to our room (in the annexe) there was a smell of electrical burning in the evenings and throughout the night, which was a bit unnerving. We didn't raise it with the hostess, but perhaps she will see it in this review.
A second but small thing- the coffee wasn't hot at breakfast. But the owner worked so hard to look after everyone, we overlooked it.
