Very pleasant, perfect for our one off trip.

Location was excellent, hosts were very friendly, breakfast was loads and tasted good. Home made preserves and chocolate.

Parking is a short distance away in a (free) public car park, (about 500m). Outside the B&B on street is limited to 30 minutes daytime.

Two lovely nights at Ter Thuyne

Lovely welcome by Jannick and Joceline and a delicious breakfast cooked daily by Joceline including friut, homemade bread and jam and other homemade treats. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The hosts were responsive before our visit and very helpful during the visit. It's very central. We loved using the hot tub in the cold drizzly weather too!

Two small changes - a second pillow and the option of opening the window. Otherwise it's perfect.

Impeccable hosts, room, service and location, would stay with them again if heading to Ypres.

Amazing location and the property is amazing. The room was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing. Would very much recommend this place!

Lots of nice little touches aimed at making a traveller's stay more pleasurable.

excellent stay

we stayed at the poppy room which was a family room. it was large, light and airy. The host was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with home made bread rolls and jams.

The bed was a little to soft for my back but that is just a personal preference.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful city. I didn’t want to leave, but will certainly be back.

After staying in a number of properties during my holiday that were tiny, the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. The property was clean and tidy, well appointed and the hosts were so lovely - was like staying with family. The location was fantastic - short walk from the train station and to the Flanders Fields Museum and the Menin Gate. The breakfast was AMAZING - so much food put out for me when I came downstairs and while I was having that, Joseline was cooking me more!!! Rooms are upstairs, but my host carried my heavy suitcase up for me which was much appreciated.

Booking.com advertised that the sauna and hot tub was closed but on arrival we were told they were open so we wasn't prepared.

Perfect location with friendly helpful hosts, no need to look elsewhere, just book you will not be.

Friendly hosts in family environment nothing was to much trouble. Very helpful with maps anx recommendations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Location is perfect, in the middle of Ypres. Restaurants in the area are very good. The staff (the couple in the house) is very helpful and friendly.

Sounds at night from the minibar (was solved by unplugging it), difficult to sleep. One of the rooms use a bathroom in the hall which could be annoying to people in the other room.

Very welcoming, warm, cosy, a lovely home in a great location. Breakfast has to be the best ever, homemade jams, bread, and other small delights. Plenty of everything. A kettle in our room was very nice but you could also get drinks in the dining room. Our hostess was lovely and had given us a homemade chocolate cat too. So much attention to detail, a very generous and creative atmosphere.

Great location for arriving by train and easy walk to town attractions. The garden was very relaxing with its fish pond, hot tub and sauna. Hovelingen and Janice made us feel very welcome. Recommended highly!!!

Breakfast was good, various choices. The location was very good, close to the centre. The room and en suite were both very good, clean and modern. The owners were both very friendly and helpful.

Excellent BnB with very welcoming host. 2 minute walk into the centre of Ypres.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was superb, lots of variety and the bonus of a surprise dish coming whilst one was eating, eg we had eggs and bacon one day and apple pancakes another.

There was nothing to dislike.

A cosy home-like property in the heart of Ypres

This place is a true gem in Ypres. It is very well located for the city centre and main attractions and is a cosy and fun place. I loved the decor and personal touches and the room was large and had everything I could need including a comfortable bed and well stocked mini-bar! The owners were very friendly and the breakfast had so much variety that whatever you like to have for breakfast it was provided. I also loved the large pretty garden and the hot tub which was very needed after a long cycle ride. I stayed at five properties on my cycling holiday and this one was my favourite.

Perfect!

The location was fantastic a short 5 minute walk to the Großmarkt less then 10 to the Menin Gate. The property was on a quiet street even though so close to the centre. Lovely variety of food at breakfast with a different hot dish served freshly cooked each day (pancakes one day and scrambled egg with bacon the next). Very very friendly and helpful hosts, who allowed us to take our bikes and bike rack through to the back garden, enabling us to park right outside the house, which we were lucky as this was free from 6 pm Saturday until 9 am Monday, the exact length of our stay. Would highly recommend and would certainly book again.

Charming B&B with a lovely garden.

The owners were friendly and kind. Breakfast was wonderful and varied day-to-day, could be eaten inside the cozy dining room or in the lovely garden. The room was large, clean, comfortable and had a kettle with coffee, tea and biscuits. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. We were glad for the A/C as it was quite warm when we visited. The in-room mini-bar was reasonably priced and had a good variety. Located a short walk from the train station, the Grote Market and the Menin Gate.

A few suggested improvements: provide extra bed pillows, a bar of soap for the bathroom sink, and perhaps a little shelf under the bathroom sink to provide space to put bathroom bags and other items.
