I really loved the outside pool of the hotel, and especially the private access to swim in the lake. When the weather is nice, having breakfast on the terrace in the morning, with a view of the lake, was also a wonderful experience. The breakfast options were also copious in my opinion. My room having a small balcony was also a nice touch.
The top panel in the bathroom window did not have frosted glass like the rest of the window. When I was in the bathroom, I could see a metallic platform outside, and wondered if someone standing there would be able to see inside. There wasn't anyone during my stay, but it was still strange to leave a bathroom window panel without frosted glass. My room was at the end of the corridor, so maybe this does not apply to all rooms.

Exceptional food, service and the location, on Lake Lugano! Excellent swimming pool and facilities. My wife and I have ween World travelers for over 50 years, and the Hotel Lido Seegarten is absolutely among the best hotels we've ever had the pleasure to stay at.

The location and the view are simply amazing.
The hotel is very nice but I had an issue with the luggage I had left at the front desk after checking out. On my way to the station, I realised the handle had been damaged, which made my return trip quite difficult. I contacted the hotel about this, sending some pictures of the damage, but they said they could not do anything because they had not seen the damaged suitcase. Was I supposed to go back to the hotel and miss my train? In the end, it was an expensive stay as I need to buy a new suitcase.
