A room with a balcony overlooking the lake is just about as good as it gets. The food in the restaurant was also excellent and in every way this small hotel far surpasses the experience I would have had in one of the larger and considerably more expensive hotels in the main streets of Lugano.

We really appreciated the spaciousness of our room. It was cool and comfortable when returning to it in the heat. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice sofa and chair to sit and read in. We liked the tea and coffee making facilities. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. We were given a lift to the station in Melide which was a very kind gesture.
We loved everything..... maybe a couple of cushions on the metal chairs on the balcony would help to prevent a hot bottom!!!
