Lemon Basic has a premium location! It’s just a 9-minute walk from Plaça Catalunya, with the metro station right in front of the hotel. The area is nice, lively, and full of cafés and restaurants.
The hotel terrace is absolutely lovely and has a really chill vibe. The rooms are basic but exactly as expected, and everything was clean. Even though we only stayed for two nights, the cleaning staff made sure to clean our room after the first night, which was a nice touch.
There’s also a nice common area where you can help yourself to coffee or tea.

Love the location - very convenient. Very nice rooms and have water and coffee available to guests
It didn’t bother us but it might get noisy if you have a room street-side. We did like the balcony and views of the street and plaza so would stay there again.

The location for getting around Barcelona and being right in the centre was perfect.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the communal area were useful but it would have been better in our room.
The room was a bit shabby and needed painting.
The bathroom needed a revamp and some repairs to the floor where they had had a leak.
Only one bedside table so we had to put items on the floor.
Apartments opposite our window could look straight in unless we drew the curtains.Several.times someone was standing on the balcony looking over.
The fire alarm went off twice, once we had got into bed, and there were no clear instructions as the reception was not manned after 6pm. Most people vacated their rooms and stood outside but no one knew what to do until someone from the sister hotel around the corner, gave the all clear.
