Would love to stay again!

The staff were lovely! The view from my bedroom was wonderful. Having a hotel car park meant I didn’t have to worry about my car.

Just a thought -why is the only hook for the towels above the toilet roll holder? The paper naturally became damp when I hung my wet towel up after showering! There was nowhere in the bedroom I could air my towel either.

One night in Aberystwyth, perfect for our needs

Staff we met were excellent, polite ,curtious, and good local knowledge. They provided secure storage for our bicycles and a free carpark , Room was clean and comfortable, this hotel is over 4 floors and does not have a lift , but this was made clear before booking so all good

Exceptional

A delightful experience. Reception staff friendly, helpful and informative. Lovely room, impeccably clean, with a sea view right over the promenade. Breakfast was great, too. Car park was full, but actually parking on the street wasn't a problem.

brilliant location, friendly helpful staff, lovely room

The hotel has a beautiful location on the seafront. our room had a sea view which was lovely and a king size bed which was very comfortable, en-suite bathroom with a lovely big shower. all staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious. parking was included too which is very helpful. would definitely want to go back and definitely recommend

Lovely location and really pleasant, helpful staff

Didn't bother us but no lift and we were 3rd floor and dining room downstairs so may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

Superb

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly, helpful and approachable. Due to unforeseen circumstances I arrived in the early hours of the morning and the owner stayed up to greet me and let me in. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. What stood out for me was how lovely the all staff were and that made my stay very enjoyable.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location for exploring Aberystwyth. Extremely happy and helpful staff,

Breakfast room was very efficient, food was great. Staff very attentive and helpful. Room was clean and bathroom was a good size. The bedroom was great with a lovely view of the beach - perfect! Good facilities available with tea and coffee replenished every day.

The location is fantastic, our room looked right over the beach and we could watch the murmurations from there. Convenient to town as well.

Great to be by the sea but especially blessed by the staff at the Richmond Hotel.

Fantastic location on the seafront. Staff were beyond brilliant. Richmond must be a great place to work because they never stopped smiling. A smile makes so much difference. Breakfast was very good.

Very good

Room was a good size with wonderful sea view. Breakfast was excellent with good staff. We could leave our car in the car park before we booked in as we arrived early.

The only thing that could be improved was the carpet on the stairs and landings, it was a bit tired looking.

Excellent stay

Vegan options available for breakfast. Hotel is in perfect location for sea view - no cars can park right outside the windows meaning no blocked views. The staff were excellent - all so friendly. Helpful and welcoming. Lovely big room and quiet location - had a great nights sleep. Plenty of parking available in car park behind hotel or on the road in front. Short easy walk to everything.

The location is ideal, the staff very welcoming and helpful and the hotel is clean.

We would have liked to have had dinner on the Sunday but the restaurant is closed for the day, probably to give the chef a day off, which we can understand. This probably explains why breakfast on Monday morning was not as good as it had benn on the previous morning.

Comfortable, friendly and picturesque.

This was our fourth short stay in Aberystwyth visiting our Granddaughter at the University, each time staying at The Richmond. We love the friendliness of the staff, the excellent breakfasts and, above all, the view of the sea just 30 metres away through the large windows.

Great seafront location with parking. Friendly staff and great breakfast included. Warned us town was busy so would need to make meal reservations for evening either at hotel or in town (which we stupidly ignored but proved true so struggled to get in) Lovely new roomy shower. And gorgeous smelling toiletries.(Not too flowery!)

No where to put bathroom towels (,room no 1) . Plenty of space above Radiator on wall so recommend a single towel rail as would make all the difference! Had to hang towels over door which meant the automatic light was on all time (it goes off after time when bathroom door closed)
