A short taxi from airport. Helpful front of house staff. A lot of info on check in - an app or welcome booklet would be helpful but we soon found our way round. It’s a biggish resort - there are little bus carts you can hop on / off but definitely not needed unless you have health issues (or are very lazy!) all of the staff are hard working and helpful and some are super friendly and great with the kids. We tended to go to the buffet for breakfast and lunch and then the à la carte restaurants for dinner as so much nicer to sit together. The buffet was good - lots of options but very busy and lots of kids so very noisy. Live omelette station for breakfast and kofte etc for lunch was what we tended to go for. The food at the à la carte was good - not exceptional but great to have so many restaurants to choose from and unlimited à la carte and lovely settings and staff. The pools were great - we sat at the infinity pool end of the main pool as close enough to the foam parties etc for the kids but a bit quieter and gorgeous view of the sea and we had the sun the longest as it tended to start to go down just after 5. The entertainment is loud but only for a couple hours and you can always go to another pool at that time. The water park and the second set of slides were brilliant for the children - kept them cool and entertained and safe - lots of lifeguards always. The rooms are big and quiet - apart from the odd distant door slam / footsteps, undisturbed sleep. Blackout lined curtains helpful. Daily housekeeping good and very friendly. The snorkelling off the jetty was amazing an absolute must.
The ice cream offering for the kids is poor compared to similar holidays we have taken - only a cple flavours in the buffet and a dessert option in the à la carte - no all day choices which surprised me. The all day snack offer was also very limited.
Drinks weren’t great - local spirits only and not good cocktails - mojito was ok. Shame Aperol spritz does not seem to be a thing here.
The rooms are a bit tired and could do with a reno but see comments above re size and comfort.
I would say it is a 4* rather than a 5* but given the price it is hard to find fault as it was good value for money and if you want true 5* drinks / food / decor etc then you need to pay more!

My stay at this beautiful resort was truly exceptional. From the breathtaking views of the Red Sea to the elegant ambiance and stunning accommodations, every aspect of the property exceeded my expectations. My room, which featured direct access to a private swim-up pool, was absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
I felt incredibly well taken care of, and the level of service made my vacation even more special. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing, and I am truly grateful for the hospitality I received. I would absolutely return to this resort and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway with exceptional service.
