Very good, very well located, quality for the price you get is very convenient. Very clean and a very good host. Owner super friendly and helpful. Will go back in the future if I have to travel to Florence again.

Marco was a perfect host and took the time to make sure we knew all the info we needed. The location was also perfect - it felt a lot more authentic than staying in the centre and it didn’t take long to walk to the main bits. I would 100% recommend staying in this area compared to the super busy central tourist area.

Marco is an excellent host who ensures you make the most of your stay, providing maps, restaurant recommendations and assistance if anything is amiss.
We were allocated the Blue Room which has an old fresco painted ceiling - it felt very authentic. The bedroom is a very good size with a great bathroom. It was useful to have a small kitchenette available for the rooms.
Although breakfast is in a separate cafe, they provided the best croissants and coffee we had during our 4 week tour (or ever!).
The accommodation is just over 1km away from major attractions but there are frequent busses nearby. However, it is close to some of the best food in Florence so make reservations for Marco's recommended restaurants!
There were a couple of things that can't/won't be changed which proved a little challenging - the plugs are some distance from the bed and nowhere near the desk (we used a suitcase as a temporary table), and (unfortunately) the smell from the bathroom was strong despite two air-fresheners on the cabinet. Both these issues are typical of Italian housing so there is nothing Marco can do.

The B&B is well situated with bus stop just downstairs.
The room is old-fashioned. The facilities were old . The thermo rack in the bathroom does not work. No shampoo and body soap provided.
