The cottage is located in a private area of the complex by itsself without any neighboring buildings which was nice. Its a short walk to the main building where the restaurant is. There is a troll walk nearby which is included with your stay. Its a fun walk which provides guests with fun facts about trolls along with some games to play. The breakfast was good and had a nice view of the river and waterfall. The cottage was comfortable and we had enough room for a family of four. The view out of the front of the cottage was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastische Lage mit traumhaften Blick vom Frühstücksraum. Gemeinschaftsküche im Haupthaus in Ordnung.
Wir hatten ursprünglich das Fossatun Sunset Cottage gebucht. Beim Check-in wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es aus "technischen Gründen" nicht zur Verfügung steht. Konkrete Gründe wurden nicht genannt. Das ist natürlich sehr bedauerlich.
Wir wurden auf zwei Doppelzimmer im Haupthaus umgebucht. Da wir dort nicht die gleiche Ausstattung wie im gebuchten Ferienhaus hatten (z.B. private Kochmöglickeit), erhielten wir Gutscheine für das Frühstücksbüfett.
Leider waren die Hotelzimmer sehr klein und unsauber (lange schwarze Haare überall). Die Heizung ließ sich nicht regulieren, deshalb war es sehr heiß im Zimmer. Das Fenster konnten wir nicht öffnen, da es kein dichtes Fliegengitter gegen die Mücken gab.
Insgesamt leider ein etwas
enttäuschender Aufenthalt.
