Yuya was very kind, helpful, and attentive prior to our arrival. He recommended a nice place for breakfast. It was about a 20 minute walk to Todai-ji temple and the deer park. It was very quiet and clean. There was a small interior garden that was lovely. I would be happy to stay here again.
The only thing was when the hot water ran out while I was shaving, but this was not a big deal.

Modern utilities - powerful shower, fridge, oven, microwave, electric stove & air conditioner are nicely installed in this ancient house. Convenient for those who plans to cook. Lovely tiny indoor Japanese garden, sliding doors & wooden floor demonstrating typical Japanese ambiance.
Around 20 mins+ walk from station or 10mins after get off bus is fine in daytime & not for ladies alone during evening. Smelly toilets & when just entering sleeping room.
