We had a wonderful three-night stay at Hotel Contila with two families and were very happy with our experience. The staff were exceptionally courteous, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to the young lady who works the afternoon shift and is a recent college graduate, as well as the gentleman at the front desk in the mornings (I believe his name may be Nicola, though I apologize if I have that wrong). They both took great care of us and made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast was nice, and the lady serving breakfast went the extra mile to confirm the allergens in the cakes and pastries for my daughter, as she has severe allergies to nuts and sesame seeds. The lady did not speak English, so she asked the front desk staff to translate. She then went a step further and brought out the box from the bakery, which had all the ingredients clearly listed. We really appreciated her care and attention to detail.
We also especially appreciated the convenient storage room and the overall hospitality. The entire team was always helpful and accommodating, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Our only minor complaint was that the air conditioning was not as effective as we would have liked, which is why I’m giving the hotel 9/10.
Overall, we had a great experience and would strongly recommend Hotel Contila to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for taking such good care of us!

The stay was very good - lovely clean new room with easy access - lovely friendly helpful staff - great location to transport and attractions- would stay again. Plenty of options for breakfast.
The bed was too hard for me but that's a personal preference.

This hotel is perfectly located near Roma termini, making it convenient for travelers to get around, staffs were friendly, luggage can be stored in the case of early arrival.
Check in and out were smooth and efficient, air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was basic but with reasonable choices.
First of all, the hotel, including its facilities, are apparently quite old, even the room decorations are weirdly outdated as well. Water pressure is weak. There is a fridge in the room which they called it “mini bar”, all it has is a bottle of water, and it cost 3 euros if you drink it, and they didn’t clarify this when checking in, so I think this is like a trap you should be aware of. The strangest thing about the hotel is that they require you to leave the room keycard at foyer when you go out. Anyway, if you only stay for a couple of days in Rome, this is a good place given its convenient location.
