The main selling points are independence and location. I travelled with my wife and four little kids. It was the possibility to have a separate chalet while still retaining hotel amenities - like breakfast, dinner, spa - that sold the place for me. It is pretty rare. The chalet was comfortable and spacious; furnished and constructed with care and attention to detail. The breakfast was ample and tasty. Dinner was good - perfectly fine for adults but sometimes too complex, strange for the kids. Now, the kids' menu simply means less choice (only two) and smaller plates but otherwise identical to adults' menu. It regularly happened that some elements eliminated both option for the kids. I suggest keeping on hand a permanent selection of some kid-friendly options, like wiener snitzel with fries or spaghetti.
I mentioned the evening menu. The spa is pretty basic and it is weird that one has to notify the staff one hour in advance before going. The waiters speak passable English, but they won't tell you if something costs extra (like water is free, but they offer to put in some lemon and it becomes paid - you won't notice until the next day when they present you with the bill). The floors of the chalet squeak like crazy - when my son, 11, got up during the night to go to the bathroom he woke up the whole house - but that can be expected in a wooden building.

The breakfast was excellent, all staff was excellent. Service super.
Location was perfect. At our visit time was very hot, but cottage location by the mountain river made our vacation cooler.
Dinner was Michelin award quality
Thanks for everyone

great location
very poor restaurant menu, charging for swimming pool from 2nd visit, too expensive few pieces of wood for making bbq / no servis provided around common bbq area, not complete kitchen, no possibility to even warm meal for children in cottage
