Location was excellent. Walkable to all the wonderful things we wanted to see. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar & amazing restaurants. Hotel itself was a darling little boutique type. Very comfortable, and lovely. Staff was extremely helpful & kind. Our first night, they recommended a restaurant (Marvani Restaurant) a few blocks away. Since it was dark & we hadn't gotten our bearings yet, one of the hotel staff walked us there. We ended up eating all of our dinners there - it was so good. And yes, we felt totally safe everywhere we went. Families with young children were out walking at 10 at night. The staff also arranged a dinner cruise for us. They were great!
Breakfast could have been better. Our first morning was fine. The second morning, not so much. They appeared to be very short staffed. Coffee machine & juice machine were not functioning & some of the breakfast items weren't replaced quickly enough to meet the crowd of guests. Tables were full & once vacated weren't quickly made available for new guests. We had to ask for table settings & coffee which were provided from a different area. Felt bad for them. The two young men were working as fast as they could. Otherwise, everything was a 10.

The breakfast was a buffet and sufficient for me. The location was very good. It was a short walk up the hill to the T1 tram line and only about a 10 to 15 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, Cistern and Blue Mosque. The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English.
