Great Facilities & Staff, but some areas of the resort were tired and in need or repair.

The range of facilities, the grounds & the staff has wonderfull customer skills.

Some of the public areas & grounds would benefit from repair & decoration.

I like the outstanding design of the hotel and the great view of the lobby and the outside garden.

The carpet in the room is a bit old and dirty.

Staff were great

Very old and unloved. Stains on floors, bed hard as a rock, bathrooms old and dirty. Food was probably the worst I’ve ever had

This relies on a name where there is better options around.

Staff were in most cases very good, Breakfast was good and had a range of something for everyone. Whisky bar was superb (Kid free zone). Room service staff where on it (Very thankful)

The place is dated and needs some serious work done in places. No laundry facilities, No way to cast devices to your TV. Wi-Fi is slow at best. Place is super nosey (Granted this was during holidays). Rubbish info for walking trails that are local to the hotel (Disappointing). Shower that is still in a bath (so 1980S)

Overall a great experience, would definitely go again with the family.

We went for 2 days 1 night for our easter getaway. The staff were super friendly and lots of facilities and activities for the little one to enjoy.

The hotel is a little dated but still comfortable.

Great for the kids!

Great facilities for the kids- that’s why we come. Pool, ice skating, arcade, giant slide, ball pit, mini train, pony rides, tree top adventure park (for 10+) and mirror maze.

The indoor pool is always a bit cold and some of the rooms probably need a bit of love. But it’s perfect for us as a family. It is pricey but for one off fun packed weekend it’s great.

I have wanted to stay in this hotel for many years but I was very disappointed.

The grounds were beautiful.

The bathroom needs a lot of work. The sink had a massive crack right through the middle - very unhygienic. It was very hard to get into the shower. It was ok for 6 ft men. The lift was always dirty.

Great weekend trip with the kids

Breakfast was great. Good variety of hot and cold food. Kids loved the juices available. Lots of activities for the kids aged 2 and 4. We spent 2 full days there and it was perfect.

Great fun for small children.

Great activities for little kids. Beautiful location.

Very dated interior. The blockout curtains had holes in them. The kids play area had a terrible stale smell.

Disappointed and sad that we spent a lot of $ of our pensions on a very poor hotel.

Bit disappointed in the room meals top prices for pub food had a shared Piri Piri chicken that you could ha purchased in Aldi for $12.00 paid $65 fries most likely from the same place paid $15.00 Brockley that you could not even cut with a knife last time we won't go back there again the most expensive place we stopped in and the worst paid half that price for better accommodation. on leaving asked if we could just have a slice of toast and a coffee for two and the wanted $50 .00 what a rip off

Most things the guy on reception was very good and helpful. the room had no toilet brush. no complement biscuits no water to drink all the for $330.00 per night. in a room for 2 people

Has the potential to be number 1 family hotel in NSW but needs a SERIOUS upgrade.

This was our 3rd stay in the hotel. The grounds and potential for this resort are incredible, it's a great spot for families to come.

The whole place needs a freshen up. Rooms and bathrooms need a renovation. Staff were overwhelmed by the amount of people during breakfast. It was our 3rd stay in this hotel and we are now paying double what we did 4 years ago - for worse conditions. I hope we can visit again but it definitely won't be until the hotel has had a serious update.

Beautiful resort inside and out. Buffet breakfast was great. Outdoor/Indoor play area for kids was excellent.

Staff did not help or took notice i was travelling alone with a toddler. No help with my bags until I said something. Staff need more training, a little slow with service. Manager on duty rushed me and didn't care to help. No parking available for parents with prams, I had to park far away. In-room dining food was cold, below average and no vegetables on the the menu. I could not even order steamed carrots for my child. No ponies to look at as they advertised.

Amazing views friendly staff.

Toilet seat broken, hair all over room and bathroom, Childs half sucked lollie stuck to spare blanket in cupboard. It felt really run down compared to my first stay in 2014

Loved it

Great location, big room, clean, even had nice soap and cream in shower in pool. Loved gym, pool and sauna

Doona was too hot, could not dial down airconditioning in room, so was too hot in bed and had to change to a normal blanket (but this happens to me in all accomodation) The closing mechanism of window in room was broken

Reception staff. Ive been staying at this resort for 6 yrs now and always paid upon check out. He was telling me they never do this?! Took it upfront. On checkout i wanted to query regarding availability on rooms for a july stay wkend and he simply told me to check online and that he couldnt check this. There was absolutely no one waiting for reception at that point so unsure why he couldnt assist.

the hotel is dated and not kept to the standard of a quality hotel. along the corridors dust collected on the door frame

the location is fabulous

we didn’t consider it value for money. the service is sub standard. we had issues with air conditioning in our room, we had to ask several times to have the issue addressed. we were told as we were offered a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary, despite following up, never provided. for the rate charged breakfast is not included and was worth paying $34 per person. room cleanliness was ok, but not to the standard we expected. or our bathroom door had dirt built up and dust along the window sills.

overall it was enjoyable and we would definitely stay here again.

the cafe was fantastic - a great option for dinner. the food was great value for money

the room cleaners were noisy. they were having conversations with each other from different rooms while cleaning. this made our stay uncomfortable while we were spending time during the day in our room as could hear their conversations. they also did not replace the toilet paper or tissues in our room.

Excellent, would stay again.

Great location, very handy for the event we were attending (trail race). Good option for tired legs not wanting to travel out again. Buffet breakfast was spot on. Quirky, friendly and interesting vibe.

A few broken items in room could have been fixed fairly easily. Italian restaurant was a bit limited in options and portion sizing for the pasta was more entree than main.

love the location and setting

appreciate I stayed over an event but $500/nt for this property is not inline with the quality. could hear everything from the room next door so terrible sleep. Years of cobwebs on windows and general poor upkeep. room however was very clean.

Hotel didn’t live up to expectations!

The 2 doctors whiskey tavern - best room at the hotel!

Seems more a hotel for families & is quite dated. Needs some investment in soft closing bedroom doors & maybe a floor for adults only (or end of corridor) breakfast was just like a large canteen! Don’t think the hotel makes the most of its location & views!
