Breakfast was awesome, and the building is really historic and enjoyable.

It was a great location right by the action and new a bus and taxi stop. Very good home base. The staff were nice and allowed us to check in early. The room was also clean too which is a good thing
At some point during the night, our AC stopped working and it got unbelievably hot in it. It went back on at 8am but this was not a good experience. We tried to open a window but it was so humid out and there was no breeze, that it made it worse, I kept trying to turn it down but was unable to. On top of that, I tried to brush my teeth one night but the water from the sink was incredibly salty, I had to spit it out and walk downstairs to request bottle water. It was very unpleasant. Also the walls were paper thin, so you can hear everybody, which the hotel advertises as “soundproof”.
