The owners kate & Mimi and staff gave us a lovely friendly welcome on arrival.
The food in the Italian restaurant was tremendous , which you would expect with Mimi being Italian. đ The breakfast was fab, proper English bacon đ we were recommended this place by a Couple we met earlier in the holiday and we certainly wasnât disappointed đGreat value for money and very convenient for the Beach and town.
Nothing we didnât like , the train didnât bother us and it was nice the watch the locals commute and they donât run 10pm till
5am.

Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Good location 2 minute walk onto the beach. Incredible breakfast included and very good portions, food in the restaurant underneath also nice. Rooms spacious, very clean & nice having the fridge / minibar option. Also helped me arrange a transfer very early to catch train from Galle.
Water pressure in the shower wasnât the best.
My only real issue was the back room I stayed is right above a train line. Trains run 5.30am-10pm ish and are very loud passing, however they do offer earplugs at reception if needed. Overall 9/10.

Great location, amazing friendly, helpful & welcoming staff. The breakfast is fantastic , including great coffee. Amazing pizza restaurant in the evening , and a little shop selling lovely gifts. Good value. Would definitely come back :)

Super friendly staff, delicious breakfast.
The room was completely run down, table broken, stain on the floor, you can hear everything from outside. I always wear earplugs but I could hear buses even with it from 6am as the property is located right on the main road and has no isolation whatsoever (itâs also next to a garage), ants in the room even found one crawling on my toothbrush, bed old and broken and makes terrible noise each time you move. The worst property we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka.
