The location was great for walking to Salamanca, the city and around beautiful Battery Point streets. Jackson and McRoss bakery was just a short walk away. The pub renovation is excellent. Parking is available and free. The shared kitchen and sitting space was very welcome. We had an enjoyable drink in the bar and dinner at the restaurant and the food was great quality. We loved the Maritime history and memorabilia.
We were there Friday night and the noise from the bar and restaurant was noticeable to about 11pm. This was expected and we were fine with it, but others may not be. We would have liked a small tv in the room to watch tv in bed.

Great location and easy walk to Salamanca and the wharf area.
The room was clean and comfortable and well appointed.
The guest kitchen had all the standards tea/coffee amenities plus bread and cereal and condiments to make a quick breakfast.
The restaurant down stairs provided great meals.
Great affordable accommodation all round.

We had such a great stay! The location was fantastic, within easy walking distance of great restaurants, cafés and the centre of town. The rooms were nicer than we expected, really spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We also loved the convenience of being able to simply head downstairs for a meal or a glass of wine. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again!
