Location is great. Easy walk to the harbor, rivulet, and many cafes and restaurants. Kevin is very kind and made a delicious breakfast every morning. I appreciated that it was included in the cost of the stay! Bed was comfortable as well.
The building is cute and clearly a bit old. Some of the interior rooms could be updated a bit. I used a shared bathroom and the shower flooded the bathroom floor if you used it for a longer shower. But honestly it is a quaint building and it’s a good value.

Kevin is an excellent host. My room was upgraded free of charge, and although it is an older Victorian style building, the amenities were perfectly fine. Breakfast was awesome and Kevin cooks to order! I really enjoyed the location and the feel of the place and the price was outstanding. Its an old home with character, so there are a few squeaks and a bit of wear, but really for a stay in the city with a car park you cant get much better!

Friendly & helpful host. Easy 10-minute walk into city centre of Hobart. Covered, off street parking. Large, above average room - plenty of room for unpacking suitcases/travel bags. An excellent fridge/freezer is in the room plus a very large flat screen TV. A log-in code is provided for a secure Wi-Fi connection.
Paid $440 for a two-night stay for the one-bedroom villa. Notwithstanding that the building is 'heritage', the room was not cleaned to a satisfactory standard. All hard surfaces required a serious wipe down to achieve a sense of cleanliness. Toilet seat was broken at the hinge making for a very unpleasant sit. Although there is a microwave oven and a two-plate hot plate provided, there is no kitchen sink. Must use a laundry tub outside the toilet/bathroom to wash used dishes. For the price paid, breakfast was very disappointing. There is no dedicated dining room, no self-service to choose preferred food. Limited choice available which centres around just eggs - no cereal, yogurt, or any juices. Requested toast is white bread only with strawberry jam - served on same plate as your eggs!
