The apartment had plenty of room for 2 people. Recommended for no more than 3 people because the 2nd bedroom is quite small. It's clean and had all the amenities we needed. It includes a washing machine but we did have to buy detergent at the grocery store down the street. There are plenty of retaurants and stores within just a few blocks.
The only check-in instructions were included with the booking confirmation that we received 4 months prior to arrival. There was no separate email with check-in instructions closer to the arrival time as is customary. Complicating that, the address listed for the apartment in Booking.com was wrong. The actual check-in location is around the corner and a couple of blocks away. After a long day of travel to get to Barcelona, spending another hour trying to figure out how to check in got our stay off to a rocky start. The street noise kept us up until after midnight each night. Although on the 4th floor, you can hear the individual conversations happening at the restaurants below and across the street. The bed mattress was uncomforably firm for our taste.

Loved the location, loved that we had a balcony, that was an unexpected surprise.
The hall bathroom door stuck so getting out was really difficult. Also, you had to fight the shower curtain while showering. A longer curtain or one with weights would solve that problem.

Location.
Charged me €80 for late check in! I have never ever been charged for late check in by a host EVER!
The sheets were very thin and bed was split into two single beds which was not comfy for me. The host lady was nice on arrival and helpful so I appreciated that. Shower curtain was not fixed to the walls, it's wedged in but can fall down.
