Location was wonderful. Communication was above and beyond - the house guidebook sent in advance with pictures guiding to the parking space was really helpful, particularly since we arrived late at night. I would suggest adding notes as to how to get from the parking spot to the house, as we went up the wrong set of stairs at first.
Communication was excellent, the house was clean and cozy! Loved the coffee shop less than a block away!

My husband and I brought our five teenagers to stay in Andy and Lynn's charming, historic Queen Anne home for New Year's eve. The house was clean and comfortable with a fabulous location close to the Space Needle for watching the fireworks. Lynn was lovely to work with and had excellent communication. The house was very comfortable for our family of seven and everyone loved it! Thank you Lynne!

We picked this house because of its location (near family) and for the number of bedrooms (3) and bathrooms (2). The neighborhood and location were perfect for us. The house was functional, but not well appointed or maintained.
There are spaces where a table or dresser would be useful, but instead they are wide open (kitchen, downstairs bathroom). There is a dresser in one bedroom that blocks access to one side of the bed (and there are other arrangements that would work better).
The lighting is good in some rooms, but very dim in others. For example, in one shower, there is no light and a dark shower curtain keeps the room light out.
The pipes need an upgrade. There is horrible water hammer, and extremely low water pressure in the upstairs bathroom.
A couple thoughtful touches were absent. There are no amenities such as travel size toiletries such as lotion or other things guests might forget; and guests cannot leave through the front door because there is no way to lock or unlock it from the outside. Instead, we have to leave through the lower back door.
Despite all of these things that would make the home feel much more welcoming and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay and were glad to find this house where our family could stay together walking distance from our Seattle family.

Everything was as described.

We had a large family gathering including several young adults. We found the e location to be perfect.we are hearty walkers so found the walk into downtown Seattle to be pleasant and extremely scenic. There was ample on street parking within a block, in addition to the one space provided. Super lovely neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time staying in your home. It is quaint and has the charm of an older home. We had 6 adults and two children with plenty of room. It was clean and comfortable and is in a perfect location to explore the sites of Seattle. We were able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants and ice cream as well as a park for the kids. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us for our vacation to Seattle.

Nice classic house.Comfy beds, good workable kitchen.
Two cautions: no bathrm on main floor and parking space is only appropriate for a very small car but street parking worked out fine. Hosts were superb!

We had one night in Seattle and this property made it possible to enjoy the most of our time. Great location, clean, and easy access to many sights. Recommend it for anyone visiting Seattle.

We had a great stay at this house. The beds very extremely comfortable and the large dining table was convenient for our group! We also appreciated the modern and high quality stove. The only challenge we had was the upstairs shower needed repair (very low water pressure). Appreciated that the owner was quick to respond and the maintenance person came very quickly to work on it. However the super high water pressure in the downstairs shower made up for it!

Last minute property change due to cleaning delay, but the new location was close by and the communication was prompt and seamless.

We enjoyed staying in this home as a family of 10. We loved sitting around the large dining table playing games and enjoying meals together. In addition the home has large windows that bring the beautiful green outdoors in. Peaceful place to stay. The hosts made it very easy to check in and any questions were answered promptly and helpfully. Nice people to work with.

Everything you need in a good neighborhood. Nothing fancy, lots of Spider-Man posters but it suited our needs and the neighborhood was so cute and quiet but we could still walk to a couple coffee shops etc.

This was a very beautiful but old, seemingly scarcely maintained home. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one was, sadly, disappointing. There were so many stairs in various areas (from the parking space, up to the doors, up and down to the main floor and to the bathrooms) and this space was definitely not ADA accessible, so if you’re disabled or have difficulty getting around please consider a different property. A couple folks in our group are disabled and found it quite difficult, but we made it work. Additionally, there were mildewed and caved in ceiling tiles especially in the kitchen, a detached stair rail leading to the basement, most of the windows were painted shut, there was a lot of dust on the baseboards and hard to reach places, the homeowners have an app they use to provide information on the house including the WIFI, house rules, etc. and I found the WIFI to be incorrect in the app. The correct WIFI was handwritten in pencil, pinned in the kitchen amongst a bunch of drawings and handwritten notes by children. I found this pretty irritating since the app was supposed to be the most updated information and we wasted a lot of time trying it over and over again. Additionally, there were noise monitors tracking the decibel levels of our group throughout our stay. We found it pretty intrusive, but I understood based on the neighborhood. The homeowners sent a very rude and passive aggressive text regarding a noise complaint from a neighbor. Definitely consider another property if you have a rowdy group or just want to let loose and have fun. There are thin, single pane windows (no coverings or curtains in the kitchen and dining room) so the main gathering areas resulted in carrying a lot of noise throughout the house and outdoors, we didn’t realize this until the following day. Also, I agree with the other reviewers that there was not enough seating in the family room; also, the tv was super small and did not have streaming services. There are lots of strict rules as well based on the neighborhood & homeowners. Also, the home is located pretty far away from the bus lines & it’s a hefty walk to them in case this matters to you. Now for the positives: the homeowners were very easy to get ahold of. The heating worked well. The neighborhood was safe & quiet. The yard was nice, but we couldn’t use it after 9 PM. The stove was nice & new. The water pressure in the showers was powerful, but warm water didn’t always work.

We booked this house for a girls weekend in the city. We loved the location. It is an extremely quiet neighborhood with nice walking to locations like Kerry Park, with amazing views of Seattle.
The house is spacious, very clean, and the hosts were available and responded quickly to questions.

The house was in a great location with plenty of street parking. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family. The owners even provided 2 booster seats. Adequate dining table and chairs as well as dishes and glasses. However the kitchen could use a small mobile island or small kitchen table. Living room seating was for 5 adults and we were a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. One more easy chair would have been wonderful addition. Also the lighting in the living room was inadequate. One bulb in the ceiling light which made it difficult to even read a newspaper. However we enjoyed our stay.

Clean, comfortable, not overly furnished

Best part of the house was the comfy beds. The rest of the house was sparsely out fitted and lacking character (aside from Spiderman). If you just need somewhere to rest your head this is great but not really a warm or comfortable place to hang out. Bare minimum kitchen items. Also, note that there is an apartment building right behind you so privacy is minimal - there is no curtain to cover that giant back window.
I typically use Airbnb more than this service but I found it weird that it was imperative to have the full names of every guest. Maybe that is the norm on VRBO? In any case, names sent but we didn't get a corresponding number of towels (and there was no detergent). I'm not going to reach out to get more towels - I expect them to be there already, maybe with a few extras.

We’ve stayed in lots of rental homes in different cities, large and small. The only way I can describe this rental experience is “low effort”.
Let’s be honest, this home is in a great location. Walkable neighborhood, great stuff to do in Queen Anne, very convenient to most things you’d want to see or do in Seattle. If you’re literally just looking for a place to sleep, and maybe eat takeout food, near attractions, then you’ll be satisfied. If you are looking for a homey atmosphere, family-friendly amenities, or an accurate property listing, you will be disappointed.
There are beds. There are bathrooms with towels (one of those bathrooms was missing a bathtub, it had been removed and there was tape over the drain pipe). There are plates and bowls and silverware, though none of them are kid friendly. There are enough pots and pans for basic cooking, but not to feed or entertain the number of guests this home can sleep. It’s not particularly family-friendly, either. A crib was advertised but not available, and the pack-n-play had no sheets provided. There is not a single plastic cup or plate or bowl in the house. The child booster seat provided did not attach to the chair and was not safe. And when we arrived, the handrail to the lower level was detached from the wall and unsafe for young and old people alike (the managers did repair this halfway through our stay). The kitchen ceiling was damaged from what looked like a pipe leak and an unrepaired hole left in its place. The lighting was poor, with several missing lightbulbs in dining area and bathrooms. The trash cans where we were supposed to put our trash, recycling, and compost were not in the listed location, and when we uncovered them from their hiding place, they were full from the previous renters, and the property managers never emptied them while we were there (so we were faced with overflowing trash cans for our stay). The living room has seating for 4 adults and no more.
But if you love Spider Man, you’ll love the decor. Every piece of art and wall decoration is a Spidey movie poster or comic book cover. Just weird.
We’ve rented homes in many cities, and this one is clearly banking on its location and convenience over any amenities or comfort. Quite honestly, we’ve never stayed at a rental with fewer things to make the stay comfortable. It did the bare minimum, and it’s convenient. Just know what you’re getting before you reserve.

Convenient location to get to center of Seattle and harbor. Safe neighborhood. BIG house with room for all 7 of us! Clean. A bit quirky since it's an older, but very well maintained house. Electronic key entry was very user friendly. Loved the front porch and the nice sitting area out front. Convenient, but small parking space in the rear so you may not be able to manage with a SUV.

No complaints. Had a great time with some friends in this house for a night.

For those traveling to Seattle, the Queen Anne neighborhood is the way to go. It's close in to just about everything that would give you a real feel for Seattle. But depending on what you're looking for in terms of accommodation, then this house may or may not be for you.
If you're looking for a crash pad, then it's a perfect house for sleeping and then leaving for your next Seattle adventure
If you're looking for a property that would also give you that Seattle vibe, then consider a different property. There may have been a time when the property looked like photos on the website, but not any more. It doesn't have a homey feel or warm vibe. I felt bad for the house. It was very clean, but it's tired. It's a weary, vacant soul being exploited for profit. As a landlord myself, I try to give my tenants an experience. I want them think they're at home. In this house, furniture on the living level was minimal, and the kitchen breakfast nook furniture didn't exist. No books on the bookshelf for a cold rainy day. Although there is a perfectly good master suite on the ground floor, no one in our party wanted to stay there, so we all crammed upstairs. The 8-bulb fixture over the dining room table had eight different light bulbs in it, as though someone had to scrounge for bulbs; and the three clocks in the kitchen all had different times. The weirdest thing, however was the property owner's love of Spiderman, since every room had at least one poster or image related to a Spiderman movie. I wasn't feeling the Seattle vibe., with the exception of watching the neighbor engage in some virtual reality both nights we were there (through the kitchen window), and heard some what sounded like karaoke from the same house one night as well.
Again, if you're looking for crash pad, this house is perfect in the perfect neighborhood. If you're looking for an experience, you'll definitely have one of those, but it may not necessarily be what you're expecting.
Andy and Lynne have another property that's almost directly across the street from this one. that's the one you want to rent, since it's well put together in a way that aligns more to a proper Seattle experience. We rented that one a couple years back and it was a favorite of the whole traveling party at the time.

This is a house is in a great location; bedroom layouts very nice for a family of 8 adults. Lots of nice towels; bathrooms well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
Owners respond very quickly to any questions. Furniture is exactly as pictured; pretty sparse on decoration. The living area is a little low on seating relative to the number of people the house can accommodate. Physical kitchen layout is nice. There are plenty of coffee cups, glasses and dinner ware except dinner plates (only 5). Cooking equipment OK for breakfast & lunch. Very well stocked on paper products. Definitely recommend as a base to visit Seattle.

Light on furniture and kitchen supplies. Not cushy but a comfortable place to stay.

We stayed here with our 4 kids (4-12) and it was lovely. Plenty of space for everyone. It is a quiet family neighborhood. The parking spot is a tight fit, but street parking was easy.

This property was in a beautiful neighborhood with a great location, close to downtown and a short drive from everything else. We thought having a car was necessary but there are bus stops close by. The streets are narrow and hilly. The furniture was sparse, what is pictured is all there is, but it had everything we needed because we didn’t spend much time in the house. The owners were responsive and the website provided for the house included answers to all our questions.

I liked it, specially because it’s close to most of the attractions. Nice and safe neighborhood. The only bad thing was the neighbors we were talking outside and apparently they thought we were to loud when we were not.

Good house, great location
This house is located in a wonderful, quiet, family neighborhood - close walking distance to parks, playgrounds, coffee shops, restaurants and is a short few minute drive to downtown, the space needle, Ballard, Fremont.
Spacious house with really comfortable beds, lots of towels, everything you need to cook in the kitchen and Lynne was responsive to all questions.
Only thing to note is that the pictures don’t represent what the house currently looks like. Aside from two couches and a dining room table, there is no other furniture in this home.
If you are just looking for a place to rest your head at night, than this home is perfect.
Our family traveled with 3 kids and 3 adults and had a comfortable experience.

Cute house in a great neighborhood
Overall we had a great stay. The beds are comfortable. For a house that sleeps as many as it does, we could have used some larger pots to cook for seven people, what is there is too small. Could use a rug, coffee table, side tables, and a lamp in the living room. Two couches are the only things there.

Good location for Seattle
We had 4 adults and one child. All were able to have their own bedroom and the child shared with her Mom. Easy access to downtown Seattle, which is what we needed for this gathering. We were only there in the evenings so it fulfilled our needs.
