Authentic feeling from outside, modern interior with some typical japanese touch (tatami floor, rice paper window shades). Bathroom was also very modern, and in the room there was enough space to store the clothes and luggages for 2people.
It is in walkable distance from Kyoto Station, and walkable also towards Nishiki market. The Higashi Hongan-ji Temple was just around the corner and we really liked the vintage market in front of it on Saturday morning.

Hotel is in a nice quiet area, bed is very comfy, shower has great water pressure, toilet and bed were very clean. Area is very accessible by public transport
Walls are a bit thin so you could hear neighbours if they were moving things around, carpet needs replacing, walls needed paint. Door handle to room came loose on the second last night
