Location was simply amazing overlooking the cathedral and a small piazza. That alone would trump anything else. It was priced very reasonably too.
It was said in the description parking was provided but we ended up paying for it ourselves . Common problem we ran into with other properties as well, but nonetheless still very unpleasant and extra expenses had to be incurred.

The location of the Palazzo cannot be any better in Siena and especially for attending the Palio. The view from my room was directly on the beautiful facade of the Battistero of the Duomo.
Airconditioning would be a benefit, especially for the rooms facing to the inner courtyards. But the old building structure with thick walls and very high ceiling help to keep some summer heat out.
