About this house rental
Nestled in Leesville, this charming house for $314 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Spacious home on a quiet road and deep water cove on Lake Murray, near Chapin. Bright and open living area, full of light with a view of the water. Dock, boat ramp, spacious front and back lawn for playing cornhole. Room over the garage boasts a pool table, flat screen Roku TV and another full (although kids' size) bath. Deck w/ gas firepit, Big Green Egg and a gas grill with a table for 6 and a lighted umbrella. Ping pong in garage. Each bedroom has brand new mattress, pillows, high quality sheets, USB power strips for charging your devices, and Roku TV. Well equipped kitchen, including Instant Pot, air fryer, blender, griddle, electric skillet, toaster oven, Keurig and coffee pot. Decent knives! Plenty of dishes, utensils, baking pans, and cooking tools. There is a nice boat ramp and room to park your boat trailer. Ask for more details if you have a boat larger than 24'. Garage access for storage, but not for parking. Lake Murray water level down for maintenance from Oct '22 to spring of '23. For Fun: One stand-up paddleboard, cornhole, ping-pong, pool table, hammock, puzzles, books and board games. Guests bring their own life jackets and beach towels. This is our happy place. The five nearby houses are occupied by full-time residents who are mostly retired. This is a perfect place for a relaxing family vacation, a fishing trip, or a quiet getaway. If you're looking for a place for a party, reunion or large get-together, this isn't the place for you. We expect our guests to respect our home and our neighbors. If at anytime we feel like this is not happening, we'll have to ask you to leave.

Really enjoyed our stay. The boat ramp and dock were fantastic for our bass boat, so convenient. Property was very clean, great layout, beautiful lake views and lots of wildlife to enjoy. Had everything one would need to feel right at home. Fran was very accessible if needed even though we had no issues. Thanks for everything.

We had a wonderful long weekend get away! This property was very clean and well stocked not only in the kitchen, but has items to use in the lake. The kids really enjoyed the paddle board!! Extra beach towels was helpful for us not to have to pack so much stuff. We are hoping to return next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Fran’s. The house was fully stocked and in a perfect location. We had some trouble with the fridge and Fran was so responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend the home and would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic time! The property is set at the end of a cove which is quite and beautiful. It has a new dock and the house has a wonderful view of the lake side. Ceiling to floor windows. Rooms were very nice. Our family had a great time here. We will be back someday.

We had a great time at this wonderful lake house! It is on a cove, very private, has its own boat ramp and new dock. The outdoor space was great and the house was very clean and well stocked. Fran was a great hostess.

We spent Thanksgiving week at this wonderful home on the water at Lake Murray. The wooded landscaping and the beautiful view of the water were visible through large windows throughout the house. My grandkids loved the pool table and ping pong table. I like to cook and was impressed by the top of the line knives and Breville oven. My 95 year old mother was able to visit snd the large open sitting area was perfect for her to watch her great grandkids

We had our three grandkids with us, ages 8, 6, and 4. The accommodations inside and out were exactly as described. Kids had a wonderful time with the outside space for games, ping pong, pool table and sleeping arrangements. The numerous deer and boat rides we enjoyed made the week very special indeed. Chapin’s Champion!
I struggle to find an adjective that describes just how great this property and how great Fran was to deal with. She has thought of everything, the Hilton could take lessons from her. Convenance, as boater location to the dock, having a great ramp, location to food and bomb island. You couldn’t find a better place.

Beautiful home in the best location, perfect for a family get away. The boat ramp and dock were just right for my 24’ boat. The fishing on lake Murray was excellent for striped bass. The location is protected so my kids enjoyed swimming and my boat enjoyed resting on the dock without any wakes. The outdoor space is well set up with every amenity you need. The owners are very responsive and will take care of anything you may need to enjoy your stay. I didn’t want to write a review because I want to keep this a secret. We love this place so much that we will return year after year as long as the owners are willing to share.

Really nice location and property, quiet cove and neighborhood, having a boat ramp on property was fantastic. Home was well equipped though the weather was so nice very little time was indoors. Very relaxing, great hearing church bells each day. We look forward to returning again.

Excellent home,location, and owner. Home was impeccably clean and well equipped. Three of us stayed five days and had a great time. We were there to fish in a tournament and the homes location and that it had a private ramp and dock in a protected cove was wonderful. Will definitely be booking this home again.

Fran couldn't have been a more gracious and accommodating host. She was very proactive and flexible when we had challenges with our travel arrangements. The house was perfect, really comfortable beds, everything labeled, and not a spec of dust. Plenty of water toys to use and a perfect spot right on the water!
