Situated in Flagstaff, this lovely house for $204 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to The Frontier Retreat! This home has been in 1 family since it was built, it is near and dear to the owner's hearts. The home is an older home with a lot of charm!! This 3 bedroom town home is a spacious, comfortable and affordable vacation home for your visit to Northern Arizona. Located off of Lake Mary road in Southern Flagstaff and convenient to downtown and NAU. We see to every detail with a fully equipped kitchen and charming back garden to enjoy the beautiful Flagstaff weather. Our town home is professionally managed by Tim Allen, West USA Realty Flagstaff. Enjoy the nearby mountains and forest right in the backyard. A plethora of accessible hiking and mountain biking trails lay just minutes beyond the front door. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 hallway bathrooms in this home. Two rooms have a Queen bed and the third has two twins. There is a roll away twin bed for additional sleeping flexibility. This home is the family home of the Bojorquez family, rich in Flagstaff history. Black and white family photos hang in the hallway and they are happy to share their family history with guests. There is a one car garage available for guests. Important to note that this home has spotty cell service. Flagstaff is best served by Verizon Wireless. If you have another cell phone provider you may not be able to get any cell service at this home. Other things to note: This home is fully furnished and stocked with essentials to get you started on your trip! Please plan accordingly to purchase enough paper products to last for the duration of your stay. Absolutely no smoking on premises. If cigarettes are found on the property or cleaners detect smoke in the home there will be an automatic $350 charge. Rental Agreement must be signed after booking is complete - please reach out if you would like to see the Rental Agreement prior to booking the home. Please let us know at the time of booking if you will need a Pack N Play for your stay. Bi-Weekly groundskeeping is performed at this home the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.

Home is a comfortable and cozy style cabin.
Amazing bathrooms/toiletries.
Wifi and internet connection is dated/old so connection is unstable.
Games and items for kids in the home are very old and missing items to play.

I liked the location, however, everything is extremely outdated and felt like 50 years ago. There were a lot of little trinkets and breakables and just things that kids could get into and potentially mess around with to where you would have to pay more for your stay. I think that all the clutter should be gone, since it does not get used anyway. Also, in the kitchen, there is no garbage disposal, and that makes things extremely difficult to cook and survive with a Family that is always eating. The sinks kept getting clogged, even with simple water running down. The utensils were extremely sparse, outdated, almost unusable. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable, and felt like sleeping on a cardboard piece. I would definitely look for another property if I came up to stay again.

old school cottage
We chose this property based on the pictures and description.
It's about a 5 minute drive to downtown Flagstaff. Updated bathrooms, retro kitchen, comfortable beds, full laundry. The curtains were drawn when we arrived late afternoon, which made it VERY dark inside. A little shocking based on the fully lit pictures. Understandable, though, because there are large windows but close neighbors. We did have an issue with the internet the first night and called the service office. It was fixed the next day. The front door latch needs repair. It only stays shut when locked. It did not affect our stay, just a note to owner. It was a convenient place to stay and cook breakfast and dinner while vacationing. Thank you.

Great place to stay in Flagstaff
This property was in a great location...quiet neighborhood yet close to town. The place was clean and comfortable and was adequate for our family of 6. The two bathrooms were updated and very nice. Other parts of the home were a little outdated decor wise, but we didn't have any problems. The lighting in the dining area was a little dim. Overall though, it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful
The location just off national forest was perfect to keep kids entertained while socially distanced. We sledded and went to a nearby park. The house is well stocked and feels like you are staying in someone's comfortable home.
The hot water heater was turned super hot, which meant hot water fast, but definitely take caution with little kids.

This place is nothing short of fantastic. We love hiking and this house is a short walk from secluded hiking. Hours and hours of beautiful scenery. We got snowed in and the owner sent a team of guys to get our cars out. We didn't ask him to do this. You rarely get service like that. He's also very responsive, nice, and reliable. We've stayed here before and we're going to go back at least 4 times this coming year. Our favorite place.Russ

Relaxing trip
Went for a relaxing trip with the family and the home was exactly what we wanted. Great space for the kids and close to the city to go eat. For us we planned to stay in most of the time and the only negative was the WiFi and tv signal would come and go. However it was relaxing and great place to stay.

Great house and beautiful location. We loved the historical touches of the house and the book describing the family history.

Great location
We loved being so close to off road trails and also to Lake Mary! The property itself shares a driveway with another house and they have alot of traffic coming and going so if you bring children be extra alert about watching them. The house itself is decorated very rustic which we enjoyed. The surface cleanliness was pretty good but the dishes were sticky/visibly dirty and needed to be cleaned prior to use. We also had ants in the kitchen but raid was provided and seemed to take care of it! The grill could definitely use a good cleaning; we covered the sides on tinfoil. There was a dirty mop bucket and mop in the garage and the garage floor was sticky. There was also a deep freezer (not in use) that held some dead lizards which caused the garage to have a bad smell but after we disposed of them it went away.. We often hung in the garage or driveway as both front and backyards are overgrown with weeds. The beds were very comfortable, as were the recliner and couch. The property manager Tim is very responsive and friendly! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

The property fit our family well! Clean, comfortable and the property manager was responsive. Wifi was spotty but we spent most time unplugged anyways. Thank you for the nice weekend!
