We had the most wonderful stay at the Arasi Resort!! The resort manager, Ian, visited with us personally each day to make sure all of our activities (kite surfing, trips to town) went smoothly. He is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the local culture from our chats with him. Because this is a smaller, boutique style hotel, they can really make any arrangements you desire - I had the feeling that nothing was too big or small of an ask for the resort team. From an amazing boat trip into Wilpattu, to taking us to three different banks and calling in the bank manager for help when we had an issue with our ATM card, the staff at Arasi truly understand hospitality! Some top highlights for us was the fresh, locally caught seafood dinners each night (some of the best food I have eaten anywhere!) and the beautiful views of the lagoon right outside our bungalow. I highly recommend this resort!!!
Nothing could have been done to improve our experience! Maybe a better road to reach the resort but they are working on that, and we didn’t want to leave the property anyway!

Prachtige plek midden in de natuur aan het water. Directe mogelijkheden tot wingfoilen en kitesurfen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ze doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken tot aan vuurwerk/diner aan het strand voor de jarige. Mooie kamers met buitendouche.

עזר לי בתכנון המשך המסלול שלי וגם דאג לי לנהג -h ian מקסים בהעברה ליעד הבא שלי
הכל היה מדהים ארוחות בוקר כמו שלא אכלתי בשום מקום אחר באף אחד מהטיולים שלי

The rooms were as described and shown in the pictures.
Communication with staff and owners was difficult. Services that were promised weren’t performed (e.g. exchange of broken lock).
The breakfast was only average. The price for the dinner option was not worth the value.
This place can only be recommended if your sole purpose is kitesurfing.
