This house is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I booked for 13 people and only 2 of the 3 showers worked which they never disclosed to us. The house was a total pigsty. Dirty dishes in the sink. Old food in the fridge. Frozen food in the freezer and the freezer was disgusting with frozen spills that looked like they were there for years. Holes in the walls & doors, burn marks on the counters, dirty table cloth. Bathrooms were filthy. No shades on 90 % of the windows & no curtains at all & where there was shades they were destroyed. Open food in all the cabinets. dirty rice cooker on the counter. a closet in the front hall filled with trash. If I could add pictures here you would get a better idea. Just a disgusting house! Mouse poop in the cabinets, stuff spilled everywhere, on the floor and walls. Only one dresser in the house and it is being used by the owner. Apparently he has 2 houses in the area and toggles between them depending on if they are rented leaving all his belongings in both houses. There is a ton of closets but everyone of them have personal belongings in them. Nothing was cleaned except the property manager cleaned the kitchen floor and helped my husband clean out the fridge while we were there. We had to wash all the sheets on the beds too for fear that they were not cleaned. When I questioned the mess I was told it is due to the area being a frat party area. That's not what I was there for. I would highly recommend finding someplace else.

Location is great , upkeep poor, consider this a danger for us elderly , not the best vaca for us . Plus a slow drain in upstairs bath just not good . We made a quick fix in the kitchen sink to stop the leak but needs work, I have pic if you need them . Would appreciate some money back Thank you

Great place to gather for a group of friends attending a wedding at the Red Barn at Hampshire College. It’s an old farmhouse, so it has its quirks, but Dieudonné was very responsive and flexible with check-in and the space perfectly fit our group. Everyone we talked to was so friendly and accommodating. If you need endless amenities, a hotel might be a better fit. But, if you just need a clean place to sleep, shower, cook, and hangout for an event with a large group - you’d be hard-pressed for a better place in Amherst.

Very good. Spacious. Responsive. Kitchen could have been somewhat better equipped, but more than serviceable for cooking and dining.

I rented so my family could gather from around the country to celebrate my son’s graduation from college. We had no choice but to make the best of what we found at this property. Staying here requires some serious adaptation and work from guests to make things work. My family is amazing in their commitment to celebrate our graduate and we did despite this house. This is not a carefree rental. An upstairs shower leaked into the downstairs bathroom so was unusable. There was evidence of considerable prior water damage in the lower bathroom that had been patched. When I texted the host his reply made it clear that he knew that in advance and didn’t notify me that one bathroom was not usable (a significant change) I cleaned mouse droppings off of the kitchen counter two mornings. Smoke detectors are missing, only one remained and is broken. Window air conditioners didn’t work reliably. Exterior lighting/motion detectors did not work There were numerous unsafe places in the house(such as missing banisters) this house would not ever be suitable for young children If I had known any of these things I would have changed my booking. By the time I arrived there were no hotel rooms anywhere in the vicinity
