Great location, 5–10 minutes’ walk to Galata Tower or the waterfront.
The room is clean.
There is a balcony with a good view.
The bed is quite comfortable.
Quiet air conditioning.
No cigarette smell.
Filling breakfast (not a buffet).
The kitchen in the room is useless — the only equipment is a kettle, sink, and glasses. No stove, dishes, or cutlery, just empty cupboards.
The hotel is located at a busy transport junction, so it is very noisy even with the windows closed.
Dirty windows.

It was less than five minutes walk to the metro. The rooms were just big enough for two people. They had a fridge, kettle, a table and chairs and, curiously, a kitchen bench with cabinets and sink but no cooking facilities. The Turkish breakfast was not fantastic, but quite adequate. Staff were cheerful and tried hard to make sure we had everything we needed.
It’s a small budget hotel and there is no wow factor. It is on a very busy road and there is no escaping the sound of the traffic, but on the third floor it became more of a constant background noise, not enough to disturb sleep. The bathroom was exceptionally small but everything worked well in it.
