When the owner, a pilot, gazed out of the window of this home for the first time, he wasn't looking at the Village ... Instead, he noticed the down-valley views and lower Sherwin mountain crests. "All I could think of was all those years flying over the snowy Alps & Rockies; low-levels down the Owens like my hair was on fire; flying up the Sierra with mountain tops off my wing and hidden lakes below me." This studio sleeps 4 in the largest studio floor plan available at the Westin. Pilots' Peak features a king bed; a practical, galley kitchen with upgraded fridge with freezer; lounge seating for 5; a queen-sized sleeper sofa; flat-screen TV; and an over-sized bathroom with shower/tub combo. We make work easy from this studio with shared hotel wifi. There are also USB's and outlets at bedsides and tabletops. The dining table makes a great workspace. The Village Monache is the best accommodation in Mammoth Lakes with its prime location, just across the street from the Village restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. It is a short walk to the gondola which will take you to the slopes of Mammoth Mountain, Canyon lodge. Monache Resort is was first opened in 2008 and is undergoing a renovation this year, 2021. Amenities in the Monache include: full 24-hour gym with locker room, year-round heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, BBQ area, ski rentals onsite, coin-operated laundry facilities, ski locker, also secured free underground parking. The Monache also offers in-house dining at the lovely Whitebark restaurant. Enjoy the Village, mountain and valley views, dine at White Bark or just relax by the fireplace in your suite with a glass of wine watching the snow fall on the pines. In the summer the bike shuttle and trolley are steps away and the Village offers exciting events, wine tastings, concerts, restaurants and shopping. Watch movies under the stars and roast marshmallows in the fire pit. Lots of games are scattered throughout the Village square. There is something for adults and kids. We loved being so close to all the amenities in Mammoth. The studio room was cozy and had everything we needed. Having the ski rental shop in the building was a huge plus along with being able to park in an underground, covered parking structure. We will definitely be back!

Every detail is in this studio unit! Love all the special touches the Nespresso coffee maker, the wagon to haul your stuff from the enclosed garage, the welcome plaque with a Scooby Snack, comfy bed, 10+ in cleanliness! We will be back. Thanks for spoiling us!

We highly recommend Mary Beth’s apartment. She thoroughly thought of everything a rental unit would need for their guests. There’s a utility cart in the closet, and had we known it was there it would’ve helped with the items we hauled to the unit, but it was heavenly knowing we had it available to use during our leave. The layout of the unit was perfectly spacious and the view of the village from the window was so pretty! We enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back. Thanks for being a wonderful host, Mary Beth!

Highly recommend- location is on 6th floor, overlooks the Village. The room is even better in person and the owners have thought of everything down to the Nespresso machine and pods. Plenty of room for our party, 2 adults and our dog. Wonderful value for $.

Love the Westin property, and this studio apartment, located on a high floor with a great view, is good for two. Well stocked, easy check-in and responsive management. Great for a long weekend getaway.

My husband and I had an amazing vacation! The checkin process was easy. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed including games we enjoyed playing. It was walking distance to restaurants and entertainment which is nice if you want to have a few drinks and not worry about how to get back. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and was incredibly nice and helpful with any questions we had. We hope to return in the future!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this property. A couple of things that come to mind are a super comfortable bed, and air conditioning!! Most properties in mammoth do not have air conditioning and it made our time so much nicer.

The studio apartment is in a prime location-5 min walk to the gondola and is very clean and spacious for being a studio. You get all the amenities of the Westin as well with pools/hot tubs. Would definitely come back!

It was a great location to the village resort was nice clean. I would definitely go back again, but I will bring my own pillow as the pillows were not suitable for me. But I must admit, I am a pillow snob. Lol

After staying in numerous condos in Mammoth over the years including the Westin, Juniper Springs, and others, this is by far the best experience that we've ever had! The decor is modern and stylish, and the condo is stocked with all of the necessities that you'll need. We really appreciate the larger refrigerator, which none of our previous Westin condos had. There is also a nice folding wagon, which was so helpful when loading and unloading. Words cannot express how helpful Mary Beth is. One of our key cards would not open the ski locker door. She offered to run right over and take care of it. Fortunately, she was able to call the front desk and it was taken care of in no time. On the drive home, I realized that I left my wallet in the safe. She ran right over, retrieved it, and sent it to me. We will definitely be staying here or at another one of her properties every time in the future!

The Westin is a great location, just steps away from Mammoth Village shops, restaurants and the gondola. The studio room is comfortable, quiet and well appointed as depicted in the photos. Communication with Mary Beth was seamless via text or email.

We had such a good time at this property everything was so nice, clean and comfy. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine it was nice having a good cup of coffee with out having to go to a coffee shop. The view from the room was amazing!

We loved the location, and the staff at the Westin were terrific, so nice to our dog. We had a tall van, so the garage parking was not available to us, which was a challenge as there is very little street parking to be had. We were surprised that the space, while very well appointed, was small, with no separate living room area. We also wished that the kitchen were equipped with a few herbs and spices other than salt and pepper. We were, however, very comfortable.

The room has a great view and great amenities. Excellent for two to three people or two adults and two children. I needed to check with the host on a few items and she was always quick to respond and helpful. I would definitely stay at one of her properties again.

Better than expected!
It seemed a little too good to be true, especially considering we had a German Shepherd with us, but it was exactly like advertised! Location was sooo good, right next to the Village, where we went and hung out almost every night, and the room was top notch. Definitely coming back next year.
