The location was very good, close place to buy coffee, playgrounds, supermarkets. Close to most of the historic attractions and close to public transport. Even though we were on a busy street, the noise didn't reach the room so much, it was quiet. Not to forget the staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stat here

Loved the history behind the hotel and its proximity to the tourist attractions as first timers Istanbul. The staff were always so friendly as well.
Not a problem for us but worth to consider if traveling with elderly or people with asthma/breathing problems: the topmost floor might be a difficult climb.

Location was ok, just a walk up a big hill to the bazaar and main tourist area. Staff were very helpful getting NZ rugby on their TV for us to watch.
The handle on the washing machine was broken, room TV didn't work, very noisy (I thought the windows must have been open) and there was a plastic mattress protector on the bed which made your body very hot.

The location is good as it is in a historical/old part of Istanbul, very close to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and other interesting places. The apartment is very spacious - that's what we liked the most.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, unfortunately we weren't able to use the smallest room as the room has a funky smell as it is right next to the kitchen that has no exhaust or return system and the AC system is very weak in that room. Therefore the entire family stayed in one room, we requested an extra bed which they provided very swiftly. Bedsheets and towels are pretty worn out, we had to ask them too to replaced beddings that has holes on it and blood stained towels which they replaced very quickly. Lastly the cleanliness was very very disappointing - there were no deep cleaning or just a basic proper cleaning in the property. They are only tidying up. I had to clean the entire place myself especially the bathroom before I let my kids use it. The floor was filthy - they are no mopping done at all. The staffs were friendly and very attentive. They have a lot of potential but they have to work hard with their cleanliness.
