Travelled with 2 kids (both ~10 years old) and this hotel provided the safe, clean and basic comfort that we were looking for being first time travellers.
It's in the best location in the heart of İstanbul to experience everything.
All the main tourist attractions are a short 5-10 minute walk, which gave us the time to return back to the hotel to rest for a short time and then head back out again.

The location. It’s close to most important monuments. Beds are also comfortable. I was allowed to do a late checkout, free of charge. Thanks for that!
Overall it’s a good hotel for a short stay.
For a Best Western hotel, the quality of this particular one is quite poor.
The windows are not sealing properly, so you can hear all the outside noise. Maybe this is done on purpose so you can hear the prayers at 6am in the mornings.
The breakfast is a joke. Every day same thing. The only proteins you will find are some poor salami and poor little sausages.
When I did the checkout, the guy from the reception asked my phone to check the reservation number but instead he tried to review the hotel by himself. When I noticed that I told him that I’ll do this on my own once I get back at home. He tried to trick me in the last moment.
