The location was convenient, walking distance from all the main sights. The breakfast was decent and plentiful. The beds were comfortable and clean.
Honestly, the rating of 9.2 when I booked was WAY higher than the place deserved. 7/10 at best, and only then because the price was reasonable. The suite looked much bigger and nicer in the photos than in reality. It was actually quite cramped. On one morning there was a cat turd on the stairs right outside our door which we could easily have stepped in! The staff were fine but not especially warm or helpful and did not add anything to the experience. There was no bin in the room. The fridge door seal was loose so the fridge was basically useless. Others have spoken about the street noise which is pretty bad, the windows are so thin we kept thinking they were open!

We had a wonderful stay in Istanbul at this very atmospheric house with wonderful apartments in the middle of old harbour part of Istanbul. A big thanks to Sabina, who was responsible for the rooms, who was very friendly and we had such good chats in the morning! Thans to Renat for the help and the great Turkish coffee! And the breakfast was so lovely and very tasty, thank you so much, also for preparing the breakfast when we had to go earlier to the Airport. And even though the steps were very steep up to our apartment, the host himself has brought our luggage up to the apartment. Thank you all for you great hospitality! We also loved the Design of the property! When we come to the beautiful City of Istanbul again, we will definitely come back!

Great stay in Istanbul! Very good breakfast, welcoming staff, and a helpful owner who was always ready to assist. The location is excellent, with many main attractions within walking distance. The jacuzzi was also a great way to relax and rest after a long day of exploring. Highly recommended!
