Schlechte Erfahrungen beim Einchecken

Großzügiges Appartement mit voll eingerichteter Küche und angenehmem Wohnbereich. Schöne Lage an einem idyllischen Gebirgsbach.

Wir müssen leider über ein sehr unangenehmes Erlebnis beim Einchecken berichten, wie wir es - seit Jahren treue Booking.com Kunden - noch nicht erlebt haben. Hätten wir nicht im Voraus bezahlt, wären wir gegangen und hätten uns - es gab zu diesem Zeitpunkt genügend freie Unterkünfte - eine andere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit gesucht. Laut der Buchungsbestätigung von Booking.com konnten wir von 15:00 - 00:00 Uhr einchecken. Um 17:10 Uhr am Büro des Anwesens angekommen, standen wir vor verschlossen Türen (Bürozeiten 9 am - 5 pm). Darunter 2 Telefonnummern, die ausserhalb der Bürozeiten anzurufen seien. Aber damit begannen die Probleme. Weder ich noch meine Frau hatten zu diesem Zeitpunkt auf unseren Smartphones einen Zugang zu irgendeinem Mobiltelefon - Netz. (Den erhielten wir, aus welchem Gründen auch immer, erst am nächsten Tag). Wir haben auch erwartet, wie es bei anderen Unterkünften gängige Praxis ist, einen Zugangscode per SMS oder Email zu bekommen. Aber auch das war nicht der Fall. Eine zufällig vor dem Büro auftauchende Frau, die ich auf den Missstand ansprach, konnte, oder wollte es nicht verstehen, dass wir die dortigen Telefonnummern nicht anrufen konnten und empfand offenbar meine Verärgerung als einen Angriff auf ihre Person und reagierte entsprechend gereizt. Sie war wohl die Ehefrau des vor Ort lebenden Verwalters, wollte aber mit dessen Aufgaben nichts zu tun haben. Letzterer würde in ca. 2 Stunden wieder da sein. Inzwischen gesellte sich - wieder zufällig- ein anderer Gast von "Woodlands on the river" ein. Eine Dame aus Holland, der ich an dieser Stelle, falls sie meinen Kommentar liest, noch einmal auf das aller herzlichste für ihre Hilfe danken möchte. Sie hatte, im Gegensatz zu uns, ein Mobilfunknetz zur Verfügung und rief die zweite, an der Bürotür angegebene Nummer an. Der Gesprächspartner an der anderen Seite der Leitung hatte offenbar keine Ahnung und musste erst minutenlang nach unserer Buchung suchen.

Excellent.

Great location. Room and living area were very nice.

We were there 7 days. Maybe one cleaning during that time would be nice. Not a problem but would be a nice touch. They do make it very easy to get fresh towels and any other items needed.

Cabaña en Rocky Montains

Los apartamentos son bonitos y están muy bien equipados, lo que permite ser 100% autónomo. Está situado en un entorno inmejorable y tranquilo.

Todos los cojines de la cama eran muy duros. Teniendo en cuenta el precio/noche, estaría bien que ofrecieran como mínimo dos opciones distintas, que pudieran adaptarse más al gusto de cada uno.

Awesome stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Woodlands on Fall River. The location right next to the river was great and it is also very close to the entrance to the national park. The facilities (including the laundry machines, cookware, kitchen etc) are very good.

The cookware & utensils were fine for 2 of us. But might not be enough for a larger group.

Great place to stay for a visit to Estes Park!

Great location near Estes Park and a few miles from RMNP entrance. Quiet and on Fall River. The road is visible too, but far enough away.

We liked everything about our stay. No a/c, but fresh, mountain air and sound of the river at night.

This trip was the best one I've ever taken and the accommodationswere top notch!

The staff and room were amazing!! The view was HEAVEN. We saw so much wildlife right on site! The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

There's not one thing I didn't like. The cost was a little pricey.

Excellent choice for lodging makes you want to stay in!

Beautiful location on River, exceptional view. the condo is nicely supplied with great kitchen tools, and outdoor grille..it was a perfect place for our stay and loved it so much we did dinner there rather than go out. Super clean. Great bedding. will be back for sure.

Property was well maintained and easily accessible. It was 2 miles from RMNP and about 2 miles from Estes Park.

Superb

Amazing place to stay - super clean and nice, with fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed! Located just by the river, and that was so nice to have a breakfast at the balcony with the river view that we had in our unit. The place also has a fireplace and shared hot tub, both were so nice after the whole day of hiking. Every unit also has a BBQ grill! Rocky Mountains National Park entrance is just 15 minutes far, and that was extremely convenient for early hikes. All the restaurants and bars of Estes Park are also located nearby.

Not a big deal, but Smart TV would be nice to have, as we couldn't cast anything from our phone or connect a streaming service. Though they have a cable TV, and you can also get a DVD from their collection in the lobby 😀

Beautiful place, expensive, very comfortable- loved the room, amenities and patio.

There was no staff there when we were there, no breakfast, no matches or way to start the fire, and the hot tub was extremely dirty. My husband and I both had some health issues after the hot tub. There was construction right across on the road which made it not as peaceful but that can't be avoided.

Great location. The place was well kept and access to extra towels... was nice.

There was a bit of a "mildew-y" smell throughout the house. The furniture was old and worn, which is OK except it was uncomfortable.

Nice river view

Love the river and unit had good amenities.

My entrance porch light didn’t work, traveling alone that is a big deal to me. Also new pillows are needed, they smell bad.

Location was great. Property itself was beautiful! easy check in and checkout process. Had all amenities needed. Highly would recommend this place.

Building numbers are a bit hard to read at night. Also upgraded smart tvs would be amazing.

the staff was so accommodating. we did the Shinjng tour and wanted to watch the movie. we were not able to get back in time to rent the dvd and the staff was nice enough to drop it off in our room. also the kitchenette was so convenient!

Beauty and Location on the River

What is there not to love about this property. We were on the first floor with gorgeous views of the river. The space was perfect for our stay and the amenities were ample as well. we arrived late and they left the keys for us to pick up. It was a wonderful stay.

Beautiful setting, clean and comfortable accommodation.

Beautiful setting! bed was comfortable, bath and shower so you can decide if you need a good soak after a days hike, plentiful hot water, everything you need the the kitchen and comfortable settee.

extremely picky but a couple of cushions on the sofa would have been good for me.

Perfect couples get away! The sound of the River at your door was, amazing but quiet when doors shut. I would come back

Loved the Adirondack chair sets out front. The location perfect. I took many pictures! we cooked in every night. Great to have a grill and well stocked kitchen. loved the bridge lighting!!

The hot tub a little hike up hill and didn’t feel romantic and not well lit.
