Come and enjoy the vacation you've dreamed of! Our luxurious one bedroom one and a half bath unit located at Sundestin Beach Resort is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The main bedroom offers a king bed and the living room has a queen sofa bed, great for the kids. This unit comes complete with all the amenities you need to enjoy a meal together. Guests will also enjoy the balcony; dine while overlooking the Gulf. There are a TV and DVD player in each room. Come make memories at Sundestin. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing construction to the building. Please expect intermittent noise during construction hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. If construction needs to go past these hours or on the weekends information will be posted a week in advance in the lobby of SunDestin. Construction will be completed by June 2024. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Overall, this was a “nice” place, but we stayed over New Years Eve, and a lot of the amenities I thought were offered were closed for winter. We were in unit 807, and there were some less than acceptable parts about the condo in general, like having to open the oven door in order to use the one kitchen drawer with the cooking utensils (that was weird) Also, having two toilets basically next to each other was also odd, as was the landline telephone on the bedside table that was not connected to a wall jack.
My biggest struggle was finding someplace comfortable to relax. The bed was hard as a rock, as was the couch. The two swivel chairs were ok, but you can only sit straight up for so long IMO. Also, not having tv channels/cable service to watch the local news & only being able to “cast” from our phones less than desirable.
The view from the balcony was great standing next to the railing, but again, the outdoor chairs were not comfortable and they were short so to watch the waves, you had to look through the railing. Having a taller set like many of the other units had would have been a lot more enjoyable.
I was glad we went to check out the condo before heading to the grocery store as we needed to purchase hand soap for each bathroom/sink, and Kleenex. It was nice that bath towels, bed linens and toilet paper were supplied.
Everyone we had interactions with at the front desk was pleasant, and the building is located close to stores and restaurants.

The resort building was undergoing noisy repairs at the time we stayed there which disturbed out stay. Plus various items, such as the hot tub and treadmill in the fitness centre did not work. Overall, the room was clean but the carpet, especially at the entrance to the balcony, was very dirty.

Overall ok, needs updates as older and cleaning crew must be smokers as very strong smoke smell when arrived. Bed needs replaced ASAP!!! It is not even flat anymore and sleep at an angle, very uncomfortable.
Patio furniture needs replaced to hightops where you can actually see over the railing to enjoy the view. The chairs out there prevent sitting and looking out at the same time.

This unit was dirty & smelt like urine. You could feel the springs in the mattress, the refrigerator seal is covered in black mold/mildew. 3 out of the 5 outlets in the dining/living room did not work, ALL outlets in this unit are loose & wiggle. The patio door blinds were missing multiple pieces. The furniture is broken down & stained. The box that was built in the corner of the bedroom has become detached leaving holes and cracks..

Great location, with pool and splash pad for kids. Condo had a slight mildew smell but went away once air conditioning was on, no pans in the cupboards so we purchased 3 and left them there, hopefully they stay for future guests.

Door lock malfunctioned several times during stay and had to be replaced. Molding around door is coming loose, water damage in several cabinets, and threshold between kitchen and living room kept coming up posing a tripping hazard. Shower didn’t want to drain and toilets didn’t want to flush. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shop downstairs is very convenient.

Trip Stay 7/2/2023-7/9/2023. We opened the door to this condo and the odor took our breath away. It was a funky smell that probably is from the really old carpet in the living room. Being the humble travelers that we are we pushed through.
We checked out the view from the balcony, and it is truly an amazing view. After looking at the emerald green water started unpacking our belongings. While unpacking my wife and I both noticed that we were starting to sweat. We went to the thermostat to check and it was set at 62, but the temperature was reading 79-uh oh. We looked in the closet and found a blower fan that you would use to try out carpet (imagine that). We plugged that in and started contemplating a call to the front desk. We decided to give the condo a chance.
We went down to the beach to check things out and were happy with everything that the resort had to offer. After checking out the resort we headed off to Wal Mart for air freshener and a box fan.
We arrived back from Wal Mart with a box fan, candles, some air freshener, and some other essentials. We opened the door and bam the smell knocked us down again. The temp was 77 which was the lowest it would get for our entire 7 night stay. The box fan and blower fan were going our entire stay. There were other issues:
cleanliness, carpet in disrepair near the kitchen, patio furniture that needs to be replaced, WiFi does not work in the bedroom, I could go on and on. Worst condo EVER!!!!

I absolutely loved this room, though the bed was too form and there were no blankets, only sheets. Aside from that, the room was clean, cute, great view, i works definately stay in this room again.

Loved the place, location, everything about this place. If you’re looking for a nice getaway this is the place. The mattress was hard, but I’m spoiled and like my mattress squishy. I know you can’t please everyone with everything.

Suggestions would be to have salt and pepper packets or shakers and a single serve coffee pot for kcups, since there are no coffee or filters provided and coffee is expensive downstairs. Air freshners for musty smell. Enjoyed our stay very much and place was very clean. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The condo was sparkling clean throughout. But washer dryer available means a coin operated laundry down the hall. Not one package of sugar, salt or pepper. No coffee filters for the coffee maker. No extra blankets. The tv stand in the bedroom is coming apart from the wall. It needs re-painting.

If you are looking for time to put your toes in white sand and blue Caribbean like waters, look no further. The location is perfect with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The restaurants serve amazing locally caught fish and shrimp. We tried to escape the cold Christmas weather but we were able to enjoy some beach time by the end of our stay and had toes in the sand. The accommodations needs a little TLC. Basic things were missing. No salt/pepper shakers for the kitchen , coffee filters for the coffee maker. Little things could have taken the experience up a notch.

Never going back and the absolute worst experience ever!!!!
Couldn’t get the door to open on first try, had to haul our stuff back downstairs and wait about 10 minutes for security to try to help. The half bath smelled of urine so bad it was nauseating (the unit had a bad odor as well, but not as bad as the half bath). The couch was stained along with the throw pillows. Was given only 2 hospital grade blankets for sheets on the pullout couch. TV in living room didn’t work. Ended up finding a roach crawling on the pullout couch and had enough at that point that I checked out and had to find somewhere else to stay. I spent 2 and a half hours checking our personal items to make sure the roaches didn’t get in our items. Tried to use the laundry room that is shared on the floor (not one in the unit) and the second the sensor light came on, another roach was running on the floor and down the floor drain.
The threshold for the glass door to the balcony is so high you have to step over or you will bang your foot on it. My kids did and I tripped so badly that I sprained (thought a fracture) my foot.
I left an email to attempt in good faith to settle this privately for at least the night that we couldn’t stay there. That also failed as much as the room-all I got was “I’m sorry for the experience and forward this to the manger” to still hear nothing or see a partial refund for the night I didn’t stay.
For sure never going back and don’t recommend to anyone.
If I could leave no stars I would because it doesn’t deserve a star at all.
PS: They try to call me a liar about this, I have witnesses and proof of what I am talking about.

Booking through Vacasa was not customer friendly when it came time to check in the unit. A comment was made in the initial booking requesting to check in early as the flight to Destin Fl was limited that put me in the Resort at noon. No response was received from the initial comment. The Resort desk help could not check me in until Vacasa released the check in availability. I was able to confirm with the cleaning staff the unit was ready - they assured it was clean. I made 3 phone calls to Vacasa even speaking to a supervisor, they tried to say someone would call or email me when the unit was ready to check in, but by the 3rd call they admitted they do not let anyone check in early at all. I was forced to change my clothes in the front lobby from jeans and long sleeve to a bathing suit top and shorts. This is not customer service - this is ignoring an option of consideration to your guest paying $1600 plus for 5 nights. As for the unit itself, it needs a new mattress and the couch smells old. The units at this resort need to be equipped with beach chairs to also be customer friendly for the price paid to stay to avoid an extra daily fee for an umbrella ($22) and chair ($25) to use on the beach they control for this type of equipment. Rented chairs and umbrellas are place on the beach very close together not much privacy on a large beach that was available. Management needs to rethink their directives to employees. To bad its a nice place to be had with minor changes.

The room was outdated. We had to call maintenance the first day, due to the tub being clogged. They didn't supply enough soap for all the sinks, only two pods of dishwashing detergent was provided and two trash bags. We had to ask management for more supplies prior to leaving. The kids spray center wasn't working for most of the week. Then one or both outside showers and hot tub were shut down for repairs. Nothing was reported in the description about private umbrella not being allowed on the beach. Umbrella rental was required or you could rent the umbrella and chairs together. We have stayed at many resorts over the years and never have we stayed at a resort where you couldn't use your own umbrella.

The property was clean. We were provided a few basic supplies and toiletries that were a welcome addition. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels, washcloths, and tp. The kitchen had all basic items to make easy meals and a dishwasher. Location is perfect with an absolutely amazing view. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

I suggest a new mattress or go to Walmart and by a gel memory foam topper if will help. The bed is way to hard fo old bones. The check in process was awful. I go there early so they said check was at 4 unless we get a text. We went to buy some water and snacks for the room. Got back at 330 unloaded the car went to the counter at 3:53 and was told I could not have keys until 4🙄 I said I have to stand here 7 minutes and the guy said yes. I am not sure if it is owner or Condo rules but that was ridiculous to wait 7 minutes. But there were about 7 families waiting until 4 too. That is not good. And the elevators were messing up which made wait times to go up or down way to long. Even with the view I will not stay at SunDestin again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this location. The view is amazing and the location is great. It was nice to be able to just come down to the lobby floor and walk out the back directly onto the beach. The check-in/check-out process was really easy. The communication regarding our stay was timely and great as well. We would definitely love to stay at this property again in the future.

Nice view horrible sleep
The checkin process was a little ridiculous they didn’t allow for early check in not even 10 minutes early which lead to alot of people in the lobby at the same time checking in and waiting for a luggage rack. The room was very clean with amazing views. The room does need updating. The couch, chairs, and beds are all uncomfortable and very hard. The couch was old and ripping. The carpet was old and very thin. Overall I won’t be back because of the beds. Good luck.
